The current rumors are still the same. Knicks are trying to trade up. They are willing to part with both firsts. Their supposed targets are Davion Mitchell or Chris Duarte. I feel like a lot of rumors are started with agents using the Knicks as pawns because they have both draft picks and cap space so take a lot of these rumors with a grain of salt. Last year nobody saw the moves coming with respect to trades or us picking Quickley. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
wouldnt surprise me
Broussard and Bucher are with fs1
sheridan i think started his own site
It makes sense. They’re not going to re-sign him anytime soon and might as well see if someone knocks you over for him. I don’t think it even means they’re totally against re-signing him at a later point.
At our current spot Would love Tre Mann though too. Or Sharife Cooper. Cooper just needs a jumper and he had star potential. 80% FT shooter so the shot is in there. He’s an all star playmaker though for sure— electric as hell in that regard. Max K made a good point earlier today that we’ve actually seen so many guys come into the league and of all things we’ve seen they can improve shooting moreso than almost anything else, which is surprising.
I like Cooper too but it's not just a matter of him improving his shooting mechanics. Given his size, it's always going to be difficult for him to find shots that aren't heavily contested.
But the upside is limited and at that age, I'd really hate to see them trade both picks to get into range for that type of piece.
Also have talkrd to Spurs about 12

Warriors reject #Sixers’ steep asking price, walk away from Ben Simmons trade centered on Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman and four first-rounders

haha, if that's the price, you definitely let Morey hold onto that dysfunction right up until camp starts. They'll have to move off that price by then.
Honestly i dont think that ask is that absurd. Sure the 4 firsts is a bit much, but if its 2 firsts? I think thats a fair deal. I mean wisemen wasnt overly impressive so who knows what he is and Wiggins is basically there to match salary.

It normally would be a fair price. But the Sixers have let that become so toxic that Simmons is worth pennies on the dollar now. They can't run it back and everyone knows it.
Did he implode or was he simply exposed? He’s a dreadful perimeter shooter and a dreadful free throw shooter. His unwillingness to shoot the 3 has been a constant knock on him. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he took that mentality a step further and all but refused to shoot free throws. He may have taken his issues to the next level during the playoffs, but this is who he’s always been. It just gets masked during the regular season when far fewer eyes are watching and evaluating his every move

Knicks a little concerned wings Ziaire Williams/Trey Murphy may not fall to 19. They'd take either. With no trade up, may have to settle for another Kentucky big, Isaiah Jackson. No indication Auburn PG Shariffe Cooper is being considered at 19/21.
Sorry- the Hield trade is a Woj bomb.

The Lakers are near a deal to acquire Washington's Russell Westbrook for Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and a 2021 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
I agree. A year ago no one wanted him. It took the Rockets taking back Wall’s contract to get the deal done

Open up a sexton trade?
I honestly think Hield is untradable. He looked absolutely awful this year. Even considering he was on a bad team, he looked bad. He’s signed l think for another 3 years at $20M+ per year. He complained ad nauseam when he got his 4 yr /90M deal, repeatedly said he felt disrespected and then went on to relatively suck ass. Part of me wonders if the money made him relax? Either way I was thinking about it the other day and wasn’t sure if I’d take the Kings pick (I.e. move up 10 spots) In exchange for Buddy Hield. That contract could set us back. Not saying that’s on the table just saying that’s honestly how much I feel his contract/ability combo at this point is just toxic. Just my opinion.

Lebron always gets the best out of guys like that. In that situation, his attitude/work ethic wouldn't scare me one bit.
