I feel strongly that those knee braces work. They restrict your range of motion in a way that you can play football even when you have swelling, torn ligaments, etc. Those aren’t just the baby ones either, those are the ones I would never where because you almost feel caged.

If Lemiux got hurt with one of those on, and the team didn’t have pads on, I feel confident that it was just a matter of time and not some fluke accident.

On it years back that showed there was a significant benefit to wearing them, in particular lineman. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the Patriots position on them as well.
