That made it sound like he was out of the game???
......"The 27-year-old joined the Bills last offseason, and he spent the first month-plus of the season on the team’s practice squad. He later caught on with the Jaguars practice squad, where he’d remain for the rest of the season."
significant area of concern going into the season.
We had a lot of need areas. OL just never was BPA. There were two times I thought maybe it could squeeze in (drafting Eichenberg rather than trading down and selecting Ojulari, taking Trey Smith in Round 6). However, EDGE was also a major need and in Round 6 if any team knew ins and outs of Smith it was the Giants and I can’t argue that.
Fulton would seem to be the no. 1 backup. Does he go to LG or do they move Hernandez back to LG and play Fulton at RG.
I would think they’d put Hernandez back at LG and Fulton at RG, positions they’re more comfortable with. Concern is with Fulton, a guy that gave up 11 sacks last year!

That’s what I would think as well. As far as his performance he had a tough year but Skinner reviewed his tape and thought he was a decent NFL lineman. He hasn’t started 90 games for no reason. Everyone has off years.

I wanted this as well but there are only so many players you can acquire and they weren’t going to get everything done this offseason. Instead they got guys like Golladay, Jackson, Toney, Ojulari and Robinson and a future first. Can’t see how you can complain about this offseason. It was exceptional.

Fulton was not the first one in when Lemieux went down yesterday and there were rumors Fulton is on the bubble. I wouldn't assume he is the next man up.

No doubt, it appears to have been an excellent off season. But to Rick's point, the OL has been the weakest link on this team for far too many years, and the team had a chance to finally to end that during the off season, and did not.

Who went in as an immediate replacement and who would be a long term replacement are two different things. It will be interesting to see.
Or could be oh that guy is avail
Instead Kenny Wiggens???
And they're reaching for someone who didn't play last year?

It's not like they were playing a game man...it's who they slid in for drills at the tail end of practice. It likely doesn't mean much.

According to NFL.com he started 15 games in 2019 and all 16 games in 2020 and has 90 starts in his career so not sure what you’re looking at.
