Man, Bledsoe was terrible at that point in his career.
Yes.
I always liked that one stat though in 1994 he had, where he threw the ball 70 times in one game but didn't throw one interception or fumble. No turnovers. They played Minnesota.
I remember at halftime there were kids playing a pop Warner game for the halftime show, so I went to take a leak. On my way back through the concourse to my seat I heard the crowd go wild, I figured one of the little guys broke off a long TD run or something. Turns out it was Pierce returning the fumble for a TD!
A few weeks later, the Giants were signing CBs and LBs off the street to start.
Also the first game of a terrible stretch run for Eli, culminating in the disaster against Carolina. Tiki carried that team into the playoffs.
Giants got a bit lucky too with Philly having their injuries that season, too. McNabb, the whole debacle with T.O. (I loved every minute of that) and even that pain in the ass Westbrook was nicked up.
I really thought that at the beginning of that season, Philly was going to win the Super Bowl, or was a shoo-in for being the NFC Championship winner.
Tony Romo, after beating the red jersey'd Giants, mention that the red jerseys helped him throw away from defenders and made throwing to his receivers easier. I do believe (but could be wrong) that was the last time the Giants wore the red tops.
I miss this team having a winning record and actually winning the division. Hopefully, stuff like that returns this season, if not it's time for alot of people in charge to hit the bricks.
I believe this was their only win in an alternate Jersey

Same. Tired of hitting December and looking at 4-7, 3-8, 2-9 records. Embarrassing.

Turned out to be us 4 and the guy who ran the club, John.....and thats it. Not even any other customers of the bar came in. It was a blast.
To this day, its the bar I go to to watch games when they arent on locally

Do you not remember that span of the red jersey curse? When I saw this thread title, I actually thought to myself, "We won wearing the red Jersey's?"
Fans used to dread when it was announced we were wearing red. But damn if that wasn't a great Era of Giants football, and the best years of my life!
