The passport agency discontinued their online procedures as third party services were dominating these appointments and selling them to their clients. I had to rely on their phone system. This morning I received an appointment at the Manhattan office. I am on my way to Italy in two weeks!

Once you get the appointment, just show up with your stuff and it's a pretty seamless process. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth it went once I got there.
