Also Osi is very honest in this video in his analysis. Comes right out and says when he doesn't like something someone is doing and how they can improve it.
The good old days, running laps, puking multiple times, coaches passing out salt pills, wind sprints....I broke a blocking sled one time...bloodied that SOB coaches' hand...good times...good memories
best as I could tell: good! If he was wearing one, maybe that mitigated whatever injury Lemieux incurred. Wish Ojulari, with his knee history, would also.

Judge requires them to wear braces. He said the brace did NOT prevent a more serious injury to Lemieux.
Prophylactic bracing is almost universally used in the NCAA
One thing to be careful about - the medical studies have been unable to identify a broad benefit (MCL injuries have been the main focus) but then the doctors or researchers involved say that prophylactic bracing is not recommended. So the thing to be careful about is that they are not recommending against such bracing, they are saying they are not recommending it, they don’t have an opinion because the research results are null.

And to be clear, I think Judge said he is only requiring it in camp.
I only watched the first few minutes now. I'll watch the rest later. So great to see Osi. Glory Days. It's been a lost decade but I think and hope we're seeing the beginning of the next Giant team to be excited about. A lot of pieces are potentially in place. They're do for some good luck and good health. Beat the Broncos!
Also side note, Osi's half English accent cracks me up.
I honestly don't remember him having any accent when he played here. He was born in the UK, so maybe it was sort of re-activated by his doing NFL commentary for the BBC?
But, I did love his analysis of individual drills and techniques. He was thorough and honest in his critiques, both positively and negatively. Plus, I loved his enthusiasm. The only complaint I had, is it would have been nice to hear players' names more often as opposed to their numbers, especially for new players.

Osi was commenting "real time", clearly he hasn't yet memorized the names of many of the new players.

I know, but shouldn't he have a sheet of players/numbers? I don't have all the numbers down for new guys, so I need to broadcast to take care of that.
...likely seeing the drills for the 1st time. It made sense that he'd just have a conversation without looking at a roster.
That said, I totally get wanting to hear the names.
When I have watched the 7v7, 11v1 or drill work I have pulled up the roster in a new tab so I could see whats-what.
I really enjoyed Osi's contributions and commentary
on that. Informative, perspective and funny. I thought it was interesting that in the first few minutes ge kept mentioning 'big money' and Papa seemed slightly miffed each time. He seemed focused on that in the beginning and made me reminisce to when he had the 'one day hold out'. He never seemed happy with Reese or Giants after that, so it was good to see him on this video.
Miss your SUNI reports.
Thanks for posting the link Marty.
