I'm super interested how practice goes today after yesterday's slow and boring news day...
Jk, let's see if the defense comes in hot after the O was the better unit first day in pads. Hoping Toney gets some work with the offense in team drills.
Sounds like it was more about where he was at mentally than anything the Giants did.
"The Giants, I was only there a little bit of time, and I think I had a shot at doing everything I wanted to do there," Davis said. "It was just everything combined. It was great there. I feel like they have a great coaching staff. There’s a lot of coaches there who care about their players doing well, so I expect them to do well."
Coach Judge talking about everyone has to earn it no matter where they came from refers to Davis? He was very pointed about that comment earlier this week and he doesn't seem like one to just say something for no reason.
Eli said that the brawl was to get to be first in line

TE Levine Toilolo just got carted off the field. He had been working on the side with injured players so not sure how he wound up on the cart.

Thanks for the update. I admit I don't know how much Toilolo means to the offense. Certainly unfortunate for him.

Also: Matt Peart just got some reps at left tackle. Nate Solder at right tackle. Andrew Thomas didn’t participate in the first team drills of the night.
Interesting that’s how they rearranged it. #Giants

The infamous “nutcracker” drill just made its debut. Not as violent as past editions, but backup safety Montre Hartage got injured during the drill. Trainers appeared to be checking his left shoulder but it was an extensive exam so hard to tell what the issue is. He’s leaving now
Quietly, Darius Slayton is having a good camp. Looks healthy and is catching just about everything.
Had a nice over-the-shoulder grab that Daniel Jones dropped in the bucket earlier. #NYGiants
Watching Kadarius Toney for the second consecutive practice, his twitch is a given. I’ve been impressed with his hands, especially on receptions away from his body and on the move. Appears to be finding a rhythm.#NYGiants
Daniel Jones missed on a pair of deep throws during this team period, but he’s had some legit juice on last two completions to C.J. Board and Evan Engram, who went the distance for the TD. #NYGiants
Evan Engram catches a pass and gets knocked down by Sam Beal. Entire practice field freezes and becomes battle ready. Beal quickly leans over and helps Engram to his feet. Peace in our time.
Lighter practice today. Daniel Jones wasn’t perfect, missed a couple deep balls, but bounced back nicely off the misses with some good throws. Solid day overall for him. #Giants

I hope Sam Beal comes up big and camp and shows us why DG took him in the 3rd round. We tend to forget these guys are like all of 21-23 when drafted and therefore may be immature. He made some mistakes, sat out a year, look healthy so lets pray he stays healthy and uses his athleticism to be our top backup corner.
