Larkin actually went to Europe and became a very good player.... small hands and all lol
and Sims should put on a show dunk wise. Sims might be the most impressive leaper I've ever seen at 6'10, not even kidding.
Being honest, he looks more explosive athletically than Mitch.
His footwork on defense and his ability to shadow 1 on 1 is impressive.
There is a reason he was available at 58 but his leaping/foot work on defense are really, really impressive. I'd go as far as to say if the Knicks can't develop him into at least a rotation big, that's a bit of a fail. He's 6'10 240, can jump out of the gym, can shift his feet like a guy much, much smaller. The basket looks less than 10 feet at times. Link - ( New Window )
I love Kemba as a UConn fan but this probably will end up as a move that fizzles due to injury. We shall see.
SGA just signed a contract for 200M, Knox better be motivated. What a miss.
So no Dame? All that rationalization for nothing? Just get the best players, period. Draft well and we don’t need to trade 12 picks for someone else’s players.

He's also very efficient on the offensive end which tells me he plays smart, knows his limitations, and is able to convert when he takes his chances.
"Not much, probably. This was one last bang to this offseason. The Knicks are almost out of roster spots — depending on what kind of contract McBride signs and whether they keep Vildoza under contract — and almost out of money. They still have their $4.9 million room exception, so they can use it to sign someone. The Knicks still need more wings, so we’ll see if they keep searching for one."
RE: Is Baron Davis still alive? Can we get him too?

Baron Davis is pushing 300 pounds (video of him balling came out last week or the week before). He's big into the film industry now (he's directed a movie etc). I know you were kidding when asking, just a legit update lol

Could definitely see Knox out going in a sign and trade for a wing. maybe they feed him the ball to try and raise his value next week in Vegas lol.

And interestingly was in a relationship with actress Laura Dern. Always been kind of a fascinating guy too bad he was definitely cooked when we got our hands on him.
Has no chance of getting minutes. If I were him I would try bulk up a bit to become a small power forward, not sure that SF is in his future. The kid can shoot though. I actually think OKC would be a great fit they can probably give him 25-30 pressure free minutes per night

I loved that draft night highlight they showed where he banged his forehead on the rim during some sort of dunk contest lol. He walked away rubbing it. The dude definitely has hops.

One note here: Room exception contracts are limited to 2 years, as are min. contracts signed once a team is over the cap. Essentially, if the Knicks want to sign Deuce McBride for more than 2 years, they must do so out of cap space BEFORE they give all their remaining $$ to Kemba

Well this is certainly one reason to waive Vildoza
Bucks, Nets, Sixers, Hawks, Miami, Improved Bulls team, Pacers, Boston... not looking to debate where the Knicks fall but hard to envision them being a top 4 seed this year.

Wasn't suggesting I'd take all of these teams over the Knicks, just listing "good" teams.
—takes up very little cap space
—maintains all the picks and young players for a major deal
—Rose should not play more than 20-25 minutes per night and same for Walker. Great sharing opportunity.
—brings another player who can create their own shot
—Kemba is one of the most liked and respected voices in the entire league

Yep, I think we can say with certainty that the forecast looks bleak for NYK to be above: Bucks, Nets, Sixers, Hawks, Heat
For the others:
Celtics: Tatum and Brown are terrific but I see little else there to suggest their arrow is pointing up.
Bulls: Much needs to shake out w the expected Markaanan trade. Lavine, Ball and Derozan are a nice threesome that likely has good on-court chemistry. Vucevic is always among the top BIGs. They are probably the 6th best East team.
Indiana is a total mystery. I see no reason why they should be slated above NYK.
Charlotte is no doubt a very watchable team. I'd still rank NYK over them.
Indiana's problem last year was injury and coaching.
i mean embiid is amazing, but if simmons is a mess is that team really that talented? Tobias is solid, Seth curry i guess. Just seems when you are looking around the east some of these teams just look much more talented.
Now trade mitch, obi, knox and vildoza for Turner 😉
Eww. Tuner aint that good, i mean he's probably worth that, but not sure that's a gamble worth taking. I am at the point now where I only want to deal assets for a super star. Guys like Turner are somewhat fungible, fully aware he's a stretch rim protector.
but did they really improve? unless trae has another level and if he does good lord, but i dont think they added anything this offseason..
they were never really healthy for much of last season. If they only get better injury luck their regular season record will be better. And several rotation pieces are still young enough that it's reasonable to assume they'll improve.

Jalen Johnson and Sharife Cooper are solid additions and they clearly were a different team once McMillen took over. They are better than the Knicks until proven otherwise.
Check out the splits from before and after the hawks fired the coach

yeah what i am saying is was what we saw in the playoffs their ceiling?
Huerter really played well in the playoffs, Bogdanavich was very good but is already 29, Gallo is older, Collins i guess can improve, Capela is what he is, Lou williams is probably gone,
Hunter is the guy that adds another dimension to them if he is healthy

Not willing to trade mitch and Obi for tuner. Let’s run with Mitch and hope he stays healthy. Defensive stats with him on the floor are really good and he should be able to get 12 pts a night rather easily.
I could see Trae being impacted by the unnatural shooting motion
its so dumb. Been nice to see it not called in the olympics (for the little ive seen with the time diff). Its funny that the international game is now the more physical game. NBA has really over corrected, its absurd. I know they think exciting means the games have to be 125-120.

I know Mitch has put on some weight & gotten stronger, but can he handle centers like Capela. Capela ate up Noel & threw him around like a rag doll in the playoffs,it was why Gibson saw so much time.I'm willing to wait & see, but I would do Mitch for Turner & include extras, but not Obi!

They got 2 future 1sts for taking him on. This also helps their tank by keeping his dead money on their books.
This won't be close to the deciding factor, but this can't help the SGA situation. Besides Dort their is nothing around him.
He knows where to be on the court, does the little things. Again, he fell to 58 so we'll see but I think he's going to help them down the line.
