Need something positive to talk about. This isn't my forte, but Dan hasn't been around and the Mets community needs some positivity right now.

Carlos Cortes is scorching hot. In his last 3 games, he's 7-14 with a double, a HR, and 6 RBI.

Last game, in a 9-0 win vs the Sea Dogs,

Cortes: 3-5, 2B, 1 R, 2 RBI
Baty: 1-4, BB, 2 R
Vientos: 0-1 and left the game, not sure if injured?
Butto: 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, BB, 4 Ks

Syracuse lost 3-1. Nothing real exciting.

Mason Williams collected a hit on a 1-4 day, now hitting .285 with a .747 OPS.
Vance "the Vanimal" Worley: 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 HR

Kilome worked an inning and also allowed a tater, the only hit/ER surrendered.

Blankenhorn: 0-3, 1 BB, .955 OPS!
Khalil Lee: 0-3, .863 OPS

The Cyclones got blanked on a 1-Hitter (Fermin collected the only hit).

Going back to August 1st because of postponed game due to rain, St. Lucie won a 9-4 game vs the Daytona Tortugas.

Alex Ramirez with a 3-run homerun, 1-5 in the game.

Chacin: (W, 2-0), 6 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 8 Ks (now 1.50 ERA)...88 pitches, 62 for strikes, pretty darn good.
