Nice comeback after a slow start. Keep winning two out of three and they have a chance...

He's like a better version of Rizutto. He goofs around a lot in the booth, but when he talks baseball, he knows his stuff.

Yankees are 17-8 in their last 25 games dating back to July 4th. No team in Major League Baseball has a better record over that span

It's so hard to believe because of the very painful and memorable losses they suffered. Imagine if they, had held on to win a few of those that they gave away.

Of course he was. What is he hitting, about 80 points higher than Gardner, OBA about 100 points higher, and OPS 250 points higher, plus a better glove. So, why let him play? So, now him and Florial are down and Garnder continues to start in CF every day and Wade continues to get at least a start a week.
Rizzo is SUCH a good hitter. A real hitter. Battles every pitch

Fouls off pitches with 2 strikes. A true pro. 13 pitch AB for a walk. A clutch dinger. Sign this guy up
Also, Taillon impressed me last night because he didn't have his best

stuff, was just a little off, but he didn't shit the bed. He still battled, kept the game within reach and pitched into the 7th inning so the bullpen didn't get abused.

I hope Cole was paying attention.
Yes, it is the Orioles...but...

they are playing MUCH better ball in almost every category. When they get the RISP hit, the bloop drops in, tiny mistakes don't hurt as much. In the first half of the season every mistake (fielding error, baserunning, etc) may have caused the loss.

If just two or so guys per game can be 'hot'. (Stanton is still a mystery how he can go from hot to ice cold in one game?) We just can't have the entire team in a slump for extended periods. I think we have the bats to do it now, a different energy on the team. Maybe there can be a run? Would love to see a Boston Massacre #2. (#3?)

.

Makes absolutely zero sense. He should be starting in CF!
This playing people because of what they meant in the past
to an organization is not winning decision making.
Then they pick up this guy Davis, who can run, but can't hit, and put him on the 26 man roster.
What a joke.

Right after the 13 pitch at bat, Judge swings at the
first pitch and bangs in to a DP.
At least he had a great throw from RF,
nailed a fast runner in Mullins.
