Jeopardy!” executive producer Mike Richards is in advanced negotiations with Sony Pictures Television to become permanent host of the venerable quiz show, taking the reins of the syndicated powerhouse that was fronted by Alex Trebek for 36 years. |
This is a totally uninspiring choice but a completely predictable one.
I was joking about that. Obviously the video isn’t new; the song came out 35 years ago.

was that he wasn't very good. Pretty boring and unenthusiastic. That video isn't new either, so your reference to that as his downfall doesn't make any sense.

Phew! My bad.
Richards was very good. Faber who is on now is the best of the bunch. Buzzy Cohen and Bialik were very good as well.

I thought Jennings did a great job directing the game. Whatever media coach he hired did a good job.
I don't know if he would want the job, but I honestly loved Bill Whitaker as guest host. He was intelligent, warm and thoughtful. he also paced the game well. Billy W not getting enough love from Jeopardy fans!

Yes, Faber is BY FAR the best one.
David Faber is doing really well this week but he's not leaving his CNBC gig
Troy would never miss an episode.

...if anyone gets this reference, you are an awesome person.
Agree. Thought I also read last night that with Richards' experience with the production process that this is really a done-deal. and he's the guy.

Now there's a person who knows how to pick a TV show! You know exactly what you're doing!
Richards is the safe choice but he's your standard run of the mill phony looking TV guy.

TBF isn't that what Trebek was when they hired him? He only became a legend over time.
