11 losses.

Could be worse.

Might be a tad better (7 wins).

This organization has been flailing wildly since 2011 trying to improve. It's like watching some idiot trying to punch a bee in the air.

What's the only constant since that time? Hmmmmmmm

and Daniel Jones + half the defense isn't injured, I will probably give up on being a fan.

That is by far the most asinine, pessimistic, self-deprecating thing I've heard on here in quite some time.
11-6

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I have the Giants losing the Super Bowl. It sucks, I know, but we win it the following year.

Agree 100%. Listen even if we resemble the team that played the last 8 games last year (and I think we are better anyway) there is no freakin way we go 0-10. People on this Board can be totally insane at times.
I'd rather start 0-10 then finish 7-10 or 8-9.
AJ23 : 8/31/2021 1:19 pm : link
That's where I'm at. Anything less than playoffs is an abject failure and Jones should be jettisoned.
Actually, after a second glance at schedule...
Milton : 8/31/2021 1:20 pm : link
I don't know what I was thinking, it looks more like 13-4 or 12-5 at worst, but I still don't have them winning the Super Bowl this year unless it's the Patriots because we always beat them in Super Bowls. Or the Bills because there's no way Josh Allen beats Daniel Jones. Or Cleveland, Baltimore, and Pittsburg, because they're not that good. But if it's a healthy Kansas City, I can't see the Giants beating them this year. But with improvements coming from the 2022 draft, the Giants will dominate the remainder of the decade. Take it the bank! They love hearing stories like that at the bank.

I can't predict the record.
FStubbs : 8/31/2021 1:26 pm : link
On paper we should have an 8-9 win team. In actually, the offensive line still seems like the worst in the NFL, so that could derail the season.

If Jones somehow takes his game to the next level though, that could mean 1-2 more wins. If he regresses, the team wins 4-5 games and we clean house. Again.

Can we at least win our season opener for once? Other than 2016 the Giants have started 0-2 or worse every year since 2012.
8-9
Sean : 8/31/2021 1:32 pm : link
I think the team will be well coached, and the defense keeping every game close. Jones & the OL is just too much to overcome.

Well coached (except for Garrett), but the roster is terrible... especially on offense. You can see them scrambling now at OL...too late.

Not looking good.
Too much stock
Dukie Dimes : 8/31/2021 1:41 pm : link
Being placed in the preseason. First few games will look similar, but once offensive weapons get reintegrated (assuming no injuries), they will be a lot better than they have shown so far.
0-10 would be catastrophic.
Vin_Cuccs : 8/31/2021 1:41 pm : link
And also pretty unlikely. Even in the worst case scenarios, I think they could get a win or two against Denver, Atlanta, Carolina, and Las Vegas.

Before pre-season
Josh in the City : 8/31/2021 1:43 pm : link
I would have said 10 or 11 wins. But with Galloday, Saquon, and Toney barely being on the field for training camp along with what I thought was the same old offense and QB/oline play Sunday night, I just don't think this team is ready to compete. I'll say 7-10.
7-10
JonC : 8/31/2021 1:43 pm : link
If some bounces go their way, 8-9 wins is a possibility.
I will go
PaulN : 8/31/2021 1:44 pm : link

10-7 is doable if relatively healthy

I am going to hold judgment until I see final team
10-7
Biteymax22 : 8/31/2021 1:44 pm : link
You're never as bad as you look when you're bad, and never as good as you look when your good, but our defense has Top 5 potential and our offense, even with the OL as is, will be better once you add in Golladay, Barkley, Rudolph and Toney.

Our division sucking helps too.

If Barkley, Golladay, Toney, and Lemieux are actually healthy...
Milton : 8/31/2021 1:48 pm : link
...to start the season (and aren't playing hurt), there is no reason they shouldn't start the year 7-0 or 6-1. The Broncos, Cowboys, Falcons, and Panthers suck. The WTF's have a solid team, but are just as beatable as they were last year; the Saints won't be the same team without Brees; and the Rams will collapse under Stafford's leadership.

It's really a favorable schedule other than playing the AFC and NFC defending champs on the road. Dolphins and Chargers are also potentially tough opponents they will be facing on the road, but the good news is that other than the Bucs, these are AFC teams I'm talking about. The Giants NFC schedule is rather soft.
10-7
Gap92 : 8/31/2021 1:48 pm : link
We do well in the division as we improve, Dallas takes a step back, Philly takes several steps back, and even though WAS also improves, we still manage to have their number.

4-2 in division - one loss each to DAL and WAS.

i'm going with 10-7
cjac : 8/31/2021 1:52 pm : link
i'm optimistic based on the second half of last season. I think with the Defense and Judge the Giants win more of those close games late. You know the ones, the ones they used to always lose
9-10 wins
giants#1 : 8/31/2021 1:53 pm : link
5-1 in the division

I can see 4+ wins from this group:
Broncos
Falcons
at Saints
Panthers
Raiders
at Dolphins
at Chargers
at Bears

Other than two games against Detroit, the Bears have it rough with non-division games against the AFC North and NFC West (probably the two most competitive divisions in the NFL). It will be hard for them to finish worse than Houston, Detroit, and Jacksonville, but there's a good chance their pick will be in the top five or six, surely in the top ten. I'm gonna say 4-11 or 5-12 for them.

p.s.--And with some bad luck, they could finish with the worst record in football. But I'm not greedy, I'd be thrilled with a top three pick.

4-13

And with our predicted 6-11, our new GM can trade up for our next QB if needed (JT Daniels???)
6-11 or 7-10

I'm at 7-10. Defense still carries

Too many bad teams in the NFL. This team will compete.
Defense should be solid and keep us in games. Offense will struggle early and hopefully once the walking wounded come back, hit their stride.

No reason they shouldn't start 7-0 or 6-1??? I don't know what state you live in, but I want some of what you're smoking! ;-)

I also think if we are not at least 2-2 after 4, it could get really ugly. We have not gotten off to good starts recentl and given the SOS of the first four games that needs to change this year. 3-1 would be ideal (split Washington and Denver and beat both Atlanta and NO).

If they are bad and the OL plays all season the way they played against NE, how do you evaluate Daniel Jones?
