Talent wise, but we were in it for 12 of 16 games last year, it's rarely going to be a cakewalk against Judge and Graham. We may not win a lot but this team will be prepared and it will fight for everything.
Like I said in a earlier post that anyone playing the Giants this year are counting on a win, and until they prove otherwise that’s the way it should be.
RE: It really is amazing all the doom & gloom around the Giants
what is with the arrogance out of the 5-11 Denver fucking Broncos? Pissed off about 86 to this day? Their media and fan base is sure confident for a team with a TON of question marks.
Before you people come at me and say "well the Giants suck and are going to be looked at a doormat until proven otherwise blah blah blah"...THE BRONCOS WERE ASS LAST YEAR. Bridgwater is nothing special. They have just as many questions as our own team.
Like I said in a earlier post that anyone playing the Giants this year are counting on a win, and until they prove otherwise that’s the way it should be.
Exactly. This team has been an absolute joke for years. Until they prove to be a consistent tough out, they’ll get no respect.

Come on blitz, no one has any problems except the Giants. You know that, I know that, everyone knows that.
NE game did leave a huge bad taste in the mouth. Every issue this team faced last season showed right back up again in a matter of 1 QTR. However, I like to think it will be different this year but history says otherwise.
Until they prove otherwise, if your blocking sucks, you aren't going to put points on the board.
Did you see what a bad O line did to KC in the SB? The Giants have a bad O line, and don’t have the weapons that KC does, which spells disaster for the offense.
It feels like the NE preseason game left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, but I think everyone is going way too far in that direction right now.
It must suck to be a fan who is so discouraged before the season even begins.
This team has more talent than they had for a while now, plenty of reason for optimism too.
Until they have a winning season it means Nothing.
Of course until the talent translates to wins, it means nothing; but it s pretty hard to get those wins before the season starts.
In the meantime I choose to remain optimistic as opposed to discouraged, plenty of time for that later f the doom and gloomers are proven to be correct.

F*** you guys who spout off all this doom and gloom before the season has even started.
Not to mention how ignorant you show yourselves to be. We have a GREAT defense under a GREAT DC, who will keep us in most every game.
The offense may not be so great today but none of you Debbie downers have seen them play with Golladay, Rudolph, Barkley, and the reliable Kaden Smith starting for the enigmatic EE. So, go ahead and spout all your negative whining in which you think that makes you look smarter than the rest of us. Well, it doesn’t. You guys will be in for a HUGE SURPRISE when you start seeing our offense gel.
So let me repeat myself since I said this a long time ago….Go F*** yourselves and why don’t you do us a favor and go hang out at the Denver Message Board.
We have no shot against the mighty Teddy Bridgewater. Since Elway began calling the shots the Broncos have been great at evaluating QB talent ranging from using a 1st round picks on legendary Paxton Lynch(who they traded up for), Using 2nd round picks on Drew Lock and Brock Osweiler, to signing Case Keenum and now Bridgewater.
You said you’re down on the team talent wise. What do you think the glaring deficiencies are that will cause us to suck?
The heart of the offense, OL and QB. I just don't trust the guys up front and I don't have a lot of faith in Jones. He has physical talent but I don't know if he has the processing power he needs to be a good QB. I want to be wrong but I don't think I am.
RE: If only people used Bulletin Boards any longer

Funny enough, Elway didn't pick Bridgewater.
But I agree about the Broncos. Not sure where all the hype is coming from.

In their 3 preseason games, their defense didnt give up a touchdown and the offense pretty much did whatever it wanted to for the most part. That changed the preseason analysis around here from "defense will be improved, but the qb is a question not matter who starts" to "I really think this team can contend for a playoff spot, if not the Super Bowl!!!! The first 3 games are layups (Giants, Jacksonville, Jets) and once they go 3-0 there, who knows?!?!? Right now, the feeling is that the Broncos have a very small chance of losing on Sunday and if they do, that balloon will pop pretty quickly. Cant wait for that to happen!
If recent history matters, the Broncos suck worse than the Giants. Not only did they finish with a worse record last year, they finished the season in a much less encouraging way.
The second half of '20, the Giants went 5-3; broncos went 2-6. Our coach had our team improving; the broncos have regressed (worse in '20 than in '19 and worse second half of '20 than first half = bad trend for a coach (Pat Shurmur like)). F Montee and his balls.
You said you’re down on the team talent wise. What do you think the glaring deficiencies are that will cause us to suck?
The Humpty Dumpty o line is as glaring as you can get.
Kellerman in his new radio gig mentioned multiple times how he had the Giants winning the NFCE but after watching the game against the Pats is down on them too, mainly because of the OL
The OLine is the key to the season as usual for the Giants.
IMO If the Giants can field a league average OLine they have a chance to have a playoff team. Of course if the OLIne is league average the QB has to raise his game to league average too.
In Jones first two years both his line and his play have been as bad as it gets in NFL. Until that changes nothing changes in the win column.
RE: RE: This will all be decided on the field Sunday
Until then, everybody can just stfu. Unless you're a fan, of course, them just go on debating everything :)
We do seem to have a lot of master debaters here.
That is what losing, and losing, and losing year after year warrants, and there is only one way to change that, and that is to go at least 9-8. Anything less is same ol same ol..

If this remark reflects where Denver's head is on this one

You keep mentioning the Giants have been bad for years, yes there is no debating that, but ehat does that have to do with this year..
It seems you cant evaluate thr current team without bringing up years before which have no bearing on this year

That kind of tells you where some (very negative) fans are coming from.
In 12 GS: 24 TDs, 12 INTs, 3027 yds passing, 280 rushing, with 2 or 3 rookie records.
If DJ played for another team, some of these negative Giant fans would probably say he's got potential, based on his rookie yr (and they'd prolly be more understanding about the shit he had going against him in his 2nd yr).
It must suck to be a fan who is so discouraged before the season even begins.
This team has more talent than they had for a while now, plenty of reason for optimism too.

I imagine this is what being a Mets fan before Cohen bought the team felt like.

All u negatives can f yourselves and ... stuff.

Barkley could have a field day....which could open up the play action.
The defense will be solid.
The team will be well coached.

5th rounder

My biggest fear is the OL!!!
Their defense can easily be top 5, that will keep you in most games, even if the offense struggles..
Denver isnt going to go up and down the field on this defense
