Todd McShay, a popular veteran NFL Draft analyst and college football sideline reporter for ESPN, announced today that he is temporarily stepping away from his duties with the network where he has been a fixture since 2006.
“I am going to take some time away to focus on my health and my family,” McShay tweeted. “Thank you ESPN for being so supportive and for all the well wishes. I can’t wait to be back on the sidelines soon.”

I wasn't aware of that so just looked it up. Agree with your assessment...see video clip.

I was thinking the same thing. Whatever it is I hope he's ok.....
Maybe that appearance put him over that line when a drinker does it away from work and it's bad enough, but then the crossover, and it happens AT work.
Good luck to him, whatever the case.

Good catch. Can't delete since I'm not the OP, but my bad for not catching that clip embedded in the article was not from the same weekend when the story broke.

Like Joe Namath? I remember watching that live and thinking "Is he DRUNK?" as did a bunch of other BBI'ers who were on that thread that afternoon
