Are the Giants 100% healthy entering a season?

ZGiants98 : 9/7/2021 9:56 pm
Not trying to jinx us but Im genuinely curious?

When's the last time we made it to week 1 with every single starter healthy on both sides of the ball?

I know Golladay, Barkley, and Rudolph might be limited but its becoming increasingly likely they play.

I also know Aaron Robinson, Elerson Smith, and a few guys are out. But in terms of starting players and where we are at heading in, this has to be near the best we've entered a season in years, no?

Yup this is a great. All things considered, this couldn’t have developed better for the Giants.

All the pieces management put together are healthy and ready to rock and roll.
I expect...

Some bumps in the road early from lack of working together, but where we were three weeks ago to today is awesome! #LFGG!

I know he’s not the most popular guy but Engram is a starter like it or not and he’s not 100% healthy and is most likely out of the game.
How is Lemieux’s knee

I hope it’s not too serious and it doesn’t affect him or possibly get worse.
I think Andrew Thomas is

Fighting an injury as well

So with him Lemieux and Engram hurt

Also Toney is not 100%
How often does any team reach Week 1

with every starter healthy? Guessing it's not typical. It'd be an interesting thing to research.

The Giants have not lost any likely starter to a season-ending injury or even to short-term IR, knock on wood. That's pretty good.
Yup and to everyone saying a couple of guys are hurting...

Sure that's true. But that will likely be the case every week from here on out. Guys play through things.... that's nothing new.

But Engram, Lemieux, and Thomas are all practicing fully and should all suit up Sunday I think.
It's football, we are pretty well off actually. Wish Adoree didn't

get that sprained ankle its going to bother him all season by the sounds of it.
I don't think we see Engram 100% for a while but Rudolph could be more

of what the offense needs than Engram right now anyway. He's more reliable. Someone made the comparison of Eli being better with Boss than Shockey and I think there's some truth in that. Engram obviously has explosiveness Rudolph doesn't have but with Barkley/Slayton/Golladay/Toney around reliability may be the more important asset right now.

so yes, I think this is about as healthy as any team can hope to be entering a season. Lemiuex being injured is annoying for continuity but I wouldn't be shocked if Bredeson ends up better anyway.
I would not underestimate Judge’s approach

To practice, load management and preseason. I know people were worried about getting time together but we have 17 game season. Of course you have to win games but having a healthy team at the end of the season will be very key for the teams success.
I dunno

I kind of think we are not very healthy. Adore Jackson and Lemieux are going to have to deal with things all year and that is a tall task before a 17 game schedule. Engram is obviously not a 100%, who knows what is going on with Barkley, I kind of get the impression they are rushing him back for an artificial deadline being week 1. It is hard to say what is the issue with Golladay but I would not say we are 100% healthy entering the season.
