Singing the same tune over the last 10 years.
Interestingly, Calvin Watkins NFL analyst for Dallas Morning News has Cowboys winning NFC East with a 10 and 7 record and Giants coming in third in division.
Seems like Paul's grading system is off
KingBlue : 9/8/2021 9:12 am : link
Offense - B minus
Defense - A minus
Special Teams - B+
Coaching - B+

Conclusion - More likely, this is an improved team that is in contention in a so-so division but ultimately does not make it into the postseason.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense. A B- offense would be lightyears better than our offense last year and effectively a lock for the division along with an A- defense. The grading he describes seems more like the Steelers than us.

My guess is he's saying everything is B quality except for the o-line and that's going to cost us games... his opinion not necessarily mine...
offense is a C-

otherwise, the rest is pretty fair. B+ defense perhaps.
His take is pretty
Dave on the UWS : 9/8/2021 11:56 am : link
reasonable. 0-8 10-7 sounds about right
This quote from Schwartz is interesting...

The most important player on offense - It’s Saquon Barkley. Yes, quarterback is the most important position on the entire field, but the Giants do not need Daniel Jones to be great.

Sorry, but Jones needs to be great. I'm so disgusted with this attitude. Either he's a 6th pick of the draft talent, which means he's got the ability to be exceedingly more than a game manager, or he's a complete waste of a pick.
