for the Saints. Their fans should and will be super pumped. It's crazy in that place even under 'normal' conditions. Depending how the Giants do the first three weeks, this game could be a spring-board to continue upward, or a long nail in their coffin.
Our house of horrors. I can't remember the last time we won there. '93? Was that the last win there? & no, I'm not joking.
I went to the Superdome for the 2009 game. Giants fresh off the SB win and both teams were 6-0. The Giants got destroyed 48-27 and the fans ate it up... House of horrors doesn't even begin to describe it.
.....the fact that they will be away for 3 straight weeks, I assume massive distractions.....disruption in their practices....let alone their homelife and not having Drew Brees.....makes a Saints home game very different then the past decade.

They weren't fresh off the SB win in 2009. They won the 2007 season SB and then in 2008 had a great year ending with Plax shooting himself and Eagles playoff loss. Full season plus between the SB win and that game.
LOL great so we get their homecoming game after a disaster.
Not saying we win, but it might not be the horror it used to be.
The Saints have been dragging Brees’ carcass around for years at this point. They are an excellent football team, you realized Taysom Hill and Teddy Bridhewater both went 5-0 with them when Brees got injured.
I got back into New Orleans yesterday after evacuating last Tuesday. Roads are clear, over 90% of the city has electricity, and businesses are reopening. Still lots of cleaning up to do.
The city needs this game here, I fully expect to be in the Dome, dressed in blue on 10/3.
they still have jameis winston starting by then?
Gee, what a surprise…

Anytime a city has a sporting event after a major magnitude event like that they almost always win and often rolling.
I m with you. Let s play the game. Don’t like to formulate opinions about people based from comments on a football forum.
But some during the past year or so, at least in my opinion, come across as being easily defeated.
