Tomorrow, the Giants will provide a list of who is "out" (100 percent will not play) and "questionable" (50 percent chance to play).
Anyone else on the injury list who does not receive either designation should unofficially be considered "probable". The NFL no longer uses that designation. I do because I think the change is stupid.
This format (limited or no practice) has replaced "questionable," "probable," etc.? I seem to recall there was a change along those lines.

No, you're confused.
"Out" and "questionable" will be designated on Friday (it is always Friday before Sunday games). There is no more official "probable" anymore.

'limited in practice,' but you can't tell how limited. Engram sounds like he's out, though.

Got it, thanks. I think it was the elimination of "probable" I had in mind.

SO does this mean questionable is the new probable? In other words would someone who is likely playing now be listed as questionable?
Best is to use an example.

Exactly. And make no mistake there are players that will show up as questionable every single week, and play every single week. It’s bullshit.
