things. See if Donnie Sands can win the job next year, his defense may not be good either but at least he’s not an idiot like Sanchez. And we have Breaux ibehind Sands.
RE: And nothing will happen. Billy Martin would have
want this job next year. I usually don't care much about managers anymore since they're just front office stooges but either he's terrible or not trying.
Total breakdown in performance. They have had bad games this year, but this is total embarrassment. It is like they are trying to lose, trying to play bad. Lack of effort.
I honestly thought they had turned it around and they were going to make noise in the playoffs after that huge winning streak. Then they reverted right back to loser mode.

Thank God football is on most days now..
to me it looks like panic play. They look like they are all playing out of their comfort zone and the result is piss poor.
This is the team I felt we had and the reason why I didn't think it was smart to empty the cupboard for Gallo. I guess they really thought they'd get Sevy and Britton back healthy.

Panic play? If there was panic, there would be urgency. This looks like the opposite. Deer in the headlight stares....Never saw Monty pitch like that.

too much urgency leads to panic and tense play. Seeing it on offense and defense over the past week. Really not surprised Gardy is the one who can stay in the urgency lane.
Wonder if the fans in the stands will start chanting
Nice guy just not the manger/leader needed. Time to go back to Sunday Night Baseball. Keeps saying trust the process— does he understand it’s September 10th. YES network not cutting him a break, that has to tell you something.
pretty much sums up everything that's been wrong with the Yankees for a while. They are soft. They are passive. They are filled with low baseball IQ players. They put no emphasis on good defense. They put no emphasis on contact hitting or getting hits just HRs. They need to rest players because they might get injured. They are afraid to play or run hard because they might get injured. They get injured anyway.
It is past time for a new set of eyes and a new philosophy to run the Yankees.
They might just find a way.
Can’t do that anymore. You may hurt his feelings
A business decision was made.
But you are all correct. If he was afraid of Villar coming in spikes up, then nail him with your shin guards.
Holy crap
He did - he stepped into the batter's box. Now, lay your glove on the ground...
It was 8 feet offline...Sanchez could have moved one step an caught it, but the throw was terrible..

Game is at Citi Field, doubt they care.
That tag on Villar is one of the worst plays I have seen. Sanchez also should have caught Urshela’s errant IMO
If the Yankees played this terribly in the 1700s, we’d all have British accents right now
