To My Fellow Giants Fans:
No matter what I, or any of the rest of you, say, and/or think, and/or insist on, and/or believe, project, pontificate and/or see, one thing is fairly certain, and with only an infinitesimal chance of not occuring,... tomorrow is the first game of the 2021 season.
For all of us fanatical Giants fans it is what we eagerly await for three quarters of a year while we watch as our team slowly evolves, with the many subtractions, additions, occurrences, and circumstances that we eagerly absorb, and effect what we believe along the way to opening day.
Tomorrow I expect the Giants to take the field and play some football. I am truly excited about this. It is going to be a nice crisp perfect weather day. I expect, and have come to believe that this particular configuration of the Giants is going to go out there, and play hard before us for a full 60 minutes.
No matter what you believe, there are numerous question marks about this team. Is the Offensive Line ready for prime time? Is Daniel Jones going to improve his performance? Are the New guys going to improve the team? Will the Offense improve it's production? Is the Defense improved? Will there be any set backs that occur during the game? These are all things that many of us have formed beliefs about and await with eager anticipation.
The real truth is that none of us knows exactly what will happen no matter what we suspect, but I expect them to go out there an make a real effort to perform. You know what in the final analysis that is all that I can ask for, that our Giants go out there and do their very best.
And thus tomorrow we are going to learn a little bit more about what this team is and what is going to happen in game 1 of the season. I am going to make every effort to be sure that at 4:25 pm I am in a seat in front of a TV set and watching every minute of the game with eager anticipation. That is all that I have in my power to control and I embrace that. I embrace what is about to occur, and will savor every minute of it.
Go Giants!!!!
Yeah Baby!!!!
And week 1 isn't the season. Just keep pushing forward with shot for the division.
The real truth is that none of us knows exactly what will happen no matter what we suspect
Some ABSOLUTELY DO.
Great post gidie.
If not, it’ll be a hard fought, close , loss.
I hope for no significant injuries.
Your comment about waiting 3/4 of a year, especially these last 2 COVID -burdened years, is spot on.
We are part of the Giants fan-family. Sometimes we excessively disagree, even driving some family away, but we are still fan-family.
Let’s enjoy the playing, hopefully the results too, and try not to lose any more family while disagreeing excessively.
Go Big Blue! And for some of us : Go Blue!
Maybe Judge was slow playing us all and the offense comes out and lights it up, if so bravo.
Yes, that would be great. Hopefully not loud though when the Giant OL is out there.

I expect tomorrow’s crowd will be boisterous and we might actually enjoy homefield advantage, something that’s been missing for quite sometime, imo.

😂
But they have to win sometimes or it gets pretty infuriating.
The string of lousy teams and losing seasons, and especially the slow starts, wrings the pleasure out of just seeing football. It's a lot more fun to watch the Giants when they're at least competitive, and preferably in contention for something. These awful first halves of the season are an almost perfect recipe for angry fans.
Psyched to see what Judge & co. do with a full camp and in the second year of his system. Let's hope it's more like the second half of the 2020 season than the first half.
I hope we are in the position to defer with the coin toss
GOOOOOOOOOOO ....GI ...ANTS !
BEEEEEEET ....DEN ...VER !
This is just the type of QB match-up Jones absolutely needs to win. Because this game is coming down to whichever QB is less incompetent.

BW,
This observation might not belong on this thread, but you probably already knew that.

There are 21 other players on the field, just in case if you weren't aware. And yes most likely whover manage the game better will win. I'm honestly relieved Engram isn't playing, type of game he loses you with an awful interception off his hands.
I'm pissed Teddy is playing, I'd feel much more confident we'd win if Lock was out there. Obviously, the Broncos coaching staff does as well regarldes of your infatuation with his big arm.

No offense but what an ignorant post.

Noodle Arm Bridgewater it's going to be very embarrassing.

None taken. But why is it ignorant?
This. Looking forward to tomorrow.

It s not ignorant, but given the tone of the OP, it kind of shows a lack of awareness.
This was a post about being excited the season is about to begin and what a special feeling it has always been for many of us.
2. Bears loss (to Rams)
I am fans of other sports teams but nothing comes close to how I feel for NYG.
I have turned my son into the same sort of fanatic.
I daydream about them for crying out loud, I am up this early on a Sunday for no other reason but to count down the hours then minutes till kickoff.
I changed jobs from cooking to landscaping this year simply because I didn't want to work Sundays like the last few seasons.
I am out of control and would not have it any other way.!!!
He turned down Princeton to go to Duke. He has to be able to learn from his mistakes
GOOOO!!
Prove that the pre season is meaningless and surprise us.
This is professional football. There are no medals for trying. I've lived through decades of Giants football like the past one too much.
For the past decade the only time being a Giant fans hasn't sucked was from about March 1st to the second Sunday in September.
Let's have the Giants start 1-0 for a change and go from there.
