Sanchez clearly made a late tag the other night. Took replay to figure that out. Lindor clearly fouled the ball off his foot. The ball was called fair and he was called out. But yeah, there was an 0-1 pitch that you didn’t like the call
Replay shows it did not hit his foot - you do not see any deflection of the shoe and the Mets certainly did not think it did.
Cannot remember people fighting over Sanchez tag, only over not standing there and tagging him. Villar wants to come both spikes up, you drop your shin guards on his legs.
I didn't watch the whole game last night. Now I wish I did. Finally,
last night. I love that there's a potential rivalry brewing between the Yankees and Mets going forward. I hope they keep playing each other every year. The rest of inter league play you can keep.
Too bad more people didn't see the game last night. That's the kind passion and emotion baseball needs more of.
The Yankees have become the perfect vehicle to make baseball more popular everywhere but the Bronx. Have a star having a down year that needs to get his home crowd behind him? Just call for the Yankees they are the cure.
crapping out again.. I think we ruined him or he did it himself but he is cooked
.
That's now 13 homers off Green (for those counting).
I wonder if Green was having flashbacks to 2017, when Giradi didn't challenge that play, and then Green let up a grand slam to Lindor.
He quickly fell behind 2-0 last night, like he wasn't comfortable pitching to him.
Personally, I watched more SNF, picked up
the game in the middle innings.
Yanks have afternoon game today as a makeup, great.

I'm warming to Lindor. Pissing off the opposition? Don't have a problem with that if he starts hitting.

Hopefully just a temporary thing.
