Always covered and yet the opponents seem to be open. Do all teams play the giants man to man and the giants defense plays zone? I ask this question every year. WTF.
Where i saw multiple linebackers in zone coverage drop to exactly where the receivers where going without even looking at the receiver (or back and te as i think it happened to be that play) and it wasn't even like jones was drawing them that way, the defensive game plan just had that play pegged.
Is the #1 reason. Short routes. Most of the receivers facing the QB. Very easy to cover especially when it's week after week after week. No pass blocking is reason 1A. No chance to run longer developing routes that force the opposing secondary to cover for more than 2 seconds. But there are other ways to get the ball out quickly than curls right at the sticks.
No pass rush is why the other teams receivers are wide open most of the time. But a soft zone designed to keep everything in front of them makes it even worse.
just check the route trees on the 22. It's highschool football.
If this is true, then it’s Joe Judge that needs to be fired. He’s responsible for it all.
Unless Garrett's job is tied to someone above Joe Judge. But even if that is true he is going to lose the team if something doesn't change, and change fast and then it really doesn't matter one way or the other. We are entering threaten to resign or own the consequences time. Especially if what @broadbandz said above is accurate.
also look more open when you catch them in stride.
Jones throws low and behind a lot, so the receivers need to break out of their route and adjust to the ball. When you need to come back to a poorly thrown ball, NFL CBs will catch up to influence to play or limit the yards after catch

Routs have to be designed to do that. Ours aren't. It doesn't matter if you are releasing the ball quick if the the route concepts have all of your receivers coming out if their breaks to a stop with waiting defenders short of the sticks.

Thing is we’ve seen Garrett’s offense in other places. I’m no expert but I don’t think they looked like this. And Garrett does what Judge tells him to do no matter who hired him.
We invested in all the DBs and decide to play off allowing 8 minutes drives. My goodness I've liked PG as DC, but good grief it's as if he had no idea how to stop that pedestrian offense.

I thought we invested in all those defensive backs so we could play more man and find ways to get to the passer.
Agree. I thought coverage was way too soft on some of those 3rd and 4th down conversions.

As for our offense, eh...

Can’t agree more. It’s horrific.

Definitely noticed it, didn’t get enough pressure

I'm sick and tired of all the losing.
The Broncos are a middling offense. They look like they're playing another sport.
