All we've heard is how great the guy is, well that was anawful performance today and if I had to lay it on one guy it would be Patrick (not that there isn't plenty of blame for everyone).
How can you have that much talent in the secondary and let guys loose all day?. Remember the drop they had on the goal line in the first half? There was no one within thirty yards of the guy ON THE GOALLINE when Bridges launched the ball.
How is that possible.?
All game long guys were fnding the seams in the zone and squatting down with noone near them.
James and Adoree - two of the best corners in the game and arguably the best pair. Logan, Jabril and McKinney ..great depth with Holmes, Love and a few more.
It was expected that the offense would struggle, Randolph, Golloday, Toney and Saquon hadn't played this year. But the defense should have held up and held the game close. The defense contributed to the offense's llegitimate woes, because they never allowed for a rythym to take hold.
On paper I don't think there's a weakness on the defense and there's an abundance of talent. I'm not going to blame this on Gettleman. I have read that they held the ball at one time for 34 plays. They lost a disputed fumble when they were driving and had the endzone drop and still they held on to the ball.
With all the shabby performances today it seems to me that Patrick Graham heads the list.
Picasso should pick a new brush.
Picasso should pick a new brush.
I've never understood the 3-man rush unless you have a superlative guy at one of the edge positions.
