Does he get a pass on having 2 coordinators who don't coordinate much?
Joe talks a great game but this is a results business, and he and his staff were thoroughly out coached and he acknowledged it along with his throwing a flag costing them a timeout that could have proved to be important.
As I said earlier today, Giants fans have gotten really stupid.
It pains me to say that.
When Belichick went to Cleveland, at about the same age JJ is now, things did not go so great for little Bill. Of course Tom Brady helped change that.
As BP was fond of saying...lets not put him in Canton yet, here I am referring to our savior Joe Judge
The problem with the offense is not the offensive coordinator.
It's almost as if you guys weren't even paying attention for the last month and a half.
What makes you think he can just take over play calling - offense or defense?

No shit.

Cordinator is dogshit

Giant fans have gotten a bit frustrated and impatient over the last 7 or 8 years...if some of the venting is a tad off, well it is venting, We all wanted/want Patrick Graham to be a great DC, but I really thought that with 2 Lockdown? corners and top shelf safety's we would have seen some better game planing vs. a mid-rung offense

When you have a supposedly improved defense and yet you make a journeyman quarterback look like Joe Montana and he kills you time after time on 3rd and 4th downs, yes, he is dogshit.
And when was the last time this team could cover a receiver over the middle? 1997? Jason Witten in a wheelchair would go for 100 yards and 2 TDs.
I've watched the Giants religiously for 38 years. I'm seriously contemplating just being done. I can't stand it anymore.

Things change in a year. See Spags' defense in 2016 and 2017.

Garrett is an easy target.

Scheme sucks, line sucks, play calling sucks; instead of running SB up the gut over and over, let’s get him in space. Roll nines out more….
haven’t soured on JJ yet but want him more involved in the O. Garret is uninspiring plain and simple.

What is the problem on offense then? I agree with you regarding Graham.

No, he's very inconvenient for you. Because he provides another person in addition to Jones who's to blame for the offensive woes. Once against Jones wasn't perfect but was light years better under Shurmur.
I covered this in my game preview, but you don't need that to figure this out.
The big offseason upgrades at the skill positions missed all of the preseason/camp. Barkley, Golladay, Toney, Rudolph. The OL is still not a coherent unit. It's going to take at least 1/4 of the season for the skill guys to get in sync and at least half the season for the OL to develop any sort of cohesion.
What's the problem? We can't run the ball until the OL comes together. Toney is so far behind that he has to be used as a gadget player. Golladay and Jones have never gotten into sync.
Right now, this is the same offense as last year.

Remind me - how did Garrett do getting Dak ready when Romo went down?

Remind me when Dak as bad of a supporting cast as Jones. Particularly the offensive line. Also, was he even calling the plays for Dallas under Dak?

I'll take a shot at this one. I will say, not as good as Kellen Moore has done in the last 2 years with Dak. Is that accurate?

I only caught the last quarter, but what I saw of Barkley was terrible. He was sent into the middle of the line on all his attempts. He has power but so do the DL men.
Why wasn't he given a chance to go outside and use his speed and agility? Our OC seems to think he still has that great Dalls line he was gifted with.
And that means that Garrett was not involved in the offensive gameplanning? Of course he was.
This is what is called Bargaining.
Look, I don’t think Jason Garrett is a reincarnation of Bill Walsh. But there is literally a minimal chance he is some sort of exceptional incompetent. Like, literally almost none.
Back to Bargaining. People blaming Garrett are scapegoating someone to make themselves feel better.
Sometimes BBI is like a college course in mob psychology.
