the fumble puts a black eye on the performance because it completely flipped the game in the Broncos favor in terms of momentum, confidence, and the scoreboard. But, he didn't get much help from his OL or receivers.
Denver had picked the Giants apart on film, in gameplan, and then executed it all day yesterday. Look no further than the knowing smiles on their faces, a thorough victory.
That said, I think everyone here knows I didn't like the draft picks of Jones or Thomas and would be perfectly willing to jump ship.
At this early stage I do like Corral and Rattler. Long way to go though.
It won't take much to improve on what we have.
I can't imagine the Giants taking either. Corral is 6'0 and Rattler is 6'1... there's a decent chance both measure less than reported at the Combine. The Giants would consequently guffaw at the thought of drafting them.

I agree with you that the Giants will think like that, but its so infuriating considering the success guys like Russ, Baker, and Kyler are having

Those are legitimate points about Corral and Rattler. They aren't big players. Not only height wise but body type wise. But both are athletic and can make plays on the move. Need to see more to get a read on their arm.
Ram DL makes most OL look rough, though.
It's shaping up to be a nice draft for OLs and LBs.
The QB class is very interesting. But there is not top ten stud right now.

stud LT. Still early but see no elite QBs in the '22 crop so far.

I'll be surprised if they move on from Jones after this season. He would need to be really bad to force a change of course.
Hey, I’m all in. Bring on Week 2!
Maybe Thibodeaux or Leal

True. We can pick one early in the 2nd... and from the looks of it, VERY early in the 2nd.
No wonder this team stinks. Looking for a stud LT after drafting a LT with the 4th pick in 2020. So depressing.

I hope you are wrong, because is this is true than why am I wasting my time following this team? Jones HAS been really bad.

He hasn’t taken that next step since 2019. It’s still riddled with good plays and then a back breaking fumble on a positive drive (like yesterday).
Personally I’m giving him one more month but it’s as if he’s a more mobile Kerry Collins. Who needed everything around him to be perfect to play well.

Corral is high on my list, too. Looking forward to see how he does in the SEC competition. I liked what I saw against Louisville.

What's the difference with having high picks if they make lousy selections with them? Sound frustrated, lol?
