What fans have become. It’s one game, let’s give them 4 games before we go wild. 2 plays completely change that game. Out best defense player missing the 4th ans 1 tackle and the Jones fumble, which was bizarre to me because it looked like he had both arms on the football to protect it.
Denver was clearly better, but really it came down to those 2 plays and we actually could have won the game.
Maybe judge made a mistake not playing more starters in preseason. Sneak out a win against Washington and go from there.

Out of all due respect, I beg to differ. The Giants were outclassed in every phase of the game. They were not competitive from start to finish. This loss wasn't about 1 or 2 plays. It was a team that never answered the bell; never found its way out of the locker room. It was that bad.
I think you'll find it's 4 seasons worth of games now.
This.
Its the 10th of 11 openers that they've lost. Its the first game in front of your fans and you don't show up again. I can handle the Jones fumble. He's trying to make a play there. I'm not saying he's not at fault, but at this point, a Jones turn over is part of the game plan. Offensive game plan was mundane. Needed a couple of quick strikes or at least one long play. It doesn't seem to be in Garretts playbook. The defense didn't show up. Against the former head coach. I think Denver punted twice. couldn't make a stop on 3rd or 4th down. how do you let a meh running back break one off like that? It stuck me as I rewatched it, this is a shoddy team in a cheap stadium. Just an all around bad product.
Beating Washington on Thursday would be a data point. It would be foolish to assume that the team we saw yesterday is the team we will see all season. It would be similarly foolish if we see a different team Thursday, and assume that is the team we will see the rest of the year.
What I do know, is that if we see the same team in Washington on Thursday that we saw yesterday, it's possible that this is just who they are.

How is it foolish to think yesterday is the team we’ll see all year? They’ve been that team for nearly a decade. It’s foolish to think they aren’t the team from yesterday

Why wouldn't it be?
Jesus dude. Have a drink.

It's appropriate. They got their asses handed to them by a 5-11 team in their home opener.
bank on it...
