The article linked here discusses Jackson's contract extension negotiation and how that is on hold because he is immersed in his job.
What are your general thoughts on this? I think, based on where he is at, every day without a contract, without some guarantees, he risks his future. The Ravens have seen the injury bug hit hard and with that the running game will be relied on even more from Jackson.
Do you think he is hurting himself by not using an agent?

I mean him and his whole family is set for life, and with any halfway decent money manager, his extended family would be set for life. He's an idiot.
Maybe he is trying to set himself up as an agent for other players when his playing days are done? Not sure that is worth the gamble, but can't believe it is simply to save himself 10%.
This is a very tough negotiation for the Ravens. LJax is so unorthodox as a player, but he's incredibly productive and he wins. A real NFL unicorn.
He's a great front runner. I really wish, however, he would work on his throwing approach and footwork. Because he absolutely needs to upgrade in that area to get even better...
See that is my thought as well. One, what experience does he have with numbers like this, complexities of contract etc? I am sure he has a lawyer to look things over but still.. He could easily get hurt with the amount of running he is going to have to do.
