The Giants have apparently rolled out the same team again this year. Offense is abysmal. We may be back in "QB Hell"
The Yankees have fallen apart, losing 8 of the last 10 and are currently rearranging deck chairs on the titanic. It's an unwieldy roster of pieces that don't fit together well at all. Bullpen is a mess and only Cole isn't a question mark in the rotation.
Julius and RJ are in the lab getting better. Kemba and Fournier are here to improve the backcourt immeasurably. Strong draft class is here to provide needed depth. Thibs is easily the most trustworthy coach of my teams. No bad contracts and tons of picks to make moves with in the future.
Maybe the Knicks are the best team I root for now? What the hell? Is this real life?
Maybe we get Deuce to play QB next year? (Drops a nice dime on a net at WVU this weekend) - (

They have a 0% chance of winning a title next season.
So... maybe? Does it matter? No.
what happened what did i miss?

I think Vegas has the Knicks and Giants at both +8000.
Saw that. Funny. I think it's great, honestly. Knicks Hawks will be fantastic next year.
That's the thing. The other two teams are in disarray while the Knicks are headed toward their likely best season in some time. They seem to be on the right track while the other two are a mess. That they aren't title contenders is more of a function of how the NBA works. Stars win championships. The Knicks will have a very good team but lack the star power they'd need to win it all. That's still better than the Yankees and Giants.

Westchester Knicks say they’ve acquired Jaylen Hands in a trade with the Long Island Nets in exchange for the returning rights to Bryce Brown.
UCLA has a good one in Jaylen Hands, an explosive leaper and dynamic play-maker who has a ton of upside potential. He’s not the most polished player but the high end athleticism is certainly there and he’s shown a nice rate of improvement in all skill areas.
Strengths
Scouts love his athleticism and his aggressive driving ability. He attacks the rim with abandon and can really fly for big time dunks, taking off from outside the lane. He’s a truly explosive athlete who is not only a great vertical leaper but has elite level lateral agility as well. He’s quick with the ball in his hands and can really blow by defenders in the open court.
This quickness also allows him to collapse the defense and find teammates, and he’s especially adept at drawing the rim protector and finding the open weak-side big. He’s got natural point guard skills and is much more than just a slasher/dunker.
3 point shooting isn’t necessarily his strength but he’s got good form on his shot and puts good rotation on the ball. He gets good elevation and has a quick release, showing a lot of promise to develop into a consistent threat from downtown.
His dribble-drive game might be his biggest strength, as he can handle with either hand, shake defenders and use his agility to separate. He’s a constant threat to take it to the rim.
Hands is a fan favorite and a razzle dazzle type of player who gets people hyped. He brings a lot of confidence and swagger to the court, which mostly serves him well.
Weaknesses
Jaylen has a thin frame and lacks strength, which could hinder his ability to guard some of the powerful point guards at the next level.
He can try to do too much with the dribble and force the issue. His aggressive style of play is mostly a strength but can also get him into tough spaces and lead to turnovers.
Comparisons
Athletically he’s like Malik Monk, with a game like Gilbert Arenas.

Fucking Sami Zayn was wearing a Kevin Knox II jersey. Haha

This generation's Reggie Miller. He's a helluva talent, though I think he's a bitch. Haha. And he gets WAY too much love from the officials considering he hasn't done much in the league to this point.

I was just having this conversation with my son. He wasn't alive for the Reggie Miller Pacer days but this feels exactly like that. He's the new Reggie Miller.
Really good player who leaned into being the villain at MSG. I love it. He said, "I hate Trae so much." And I replied, "yeah, but what games are we looking forward to more than the Hawks?" None. I am so ready for the first matchup between the two teams. LFG!

The @memgrizz
today announced the team acquired guards Kris Dunn and Carsen Edwards and the right to swap 2026 second round draft picks from the Boston Celtics for forward Juancho Hernangómez. Press release below.
The best team you root for is the Yanks. Are you kidding with this Knicks and NYG nonsense? Love the Knicks 20-21 season and I look forward to the future, but the Yanks win 95 games every year. That's like winning 60 in the NBA.
The Yanks won a title 11 years ago. The Yanks will likely win a title again over the next 11 years.
You take the Yanks for granted.
Yanks are in fine shape but may need some tinkering in the offseason.
NYG are a mess until proven otherwise. Game 1 was disturbing but it was only one game.
Knicks are in fine shape, but if the Yanks have a few miles to go to win a title, the Knicks have to travel over countries and continents to win a title.
Rangers are weird but loaded with young talent. They could fuck it up or the players aren't even that good. We shall see.
