Browns were up double digits on the Chefs yesterday.
Browns were up 29-20 going into the 4th quarter and the clock struck midnight for Mayfield.
Mayfield had good stats going into the 4th quarter and then he ran drives for: -10 yards, 8 yards, 31 yards before an INT.
The Brown D made a huge stop to get the ball back to the Browns O with 2m 30 seconds left and Mayfield couldn't come through.
Yeah, Chiefs on the Road are tough, but Browns are talking Super Bowl.
Does Mayfield have what it takes to win the A big game?
It will be fun to see. He has a big contract waiting for him if he can show it.
They lost that game before the last drive. It's actually ridiculous to think Baker isn't a clutch QB when he's had a billion comebacks in college.
I agree.
I think he’s average and Stefanski schemed for him well last year. A lot of dink and dunk. Although, I think he throws an incredible ball and can sling it.

Just think he's another avg QB

This plus let’s add in a top 3 offensive line and 2 very good running backs. And talent at every skill position. He’s exactly average and it’s all scheme based.
This isn't college.
That's a lame argument.
You blaming the D is lame as well.
Mayfield came up small yesterday. With a lame duck interception.
He has yet to have a clutch win in a big game in the NFL.
He beat a depleted Steeler team in the playoffs that a college team would have beat.
Based on the rest of your takes, I don't think you have much context as to "another" or "average" but you do have internet access, so congrats.

How is that fucking lame? Whats lame is taking a sample size of 1 and saying he isn't a clutch QB. He was plenty clutch at OU.
The fact of the matter is the Browns defense let them down big time and they couldn't run the ball. The Chiefs defensively are set up for that exact situation, when teams are backed into being throw only because of time. And the Browns are set up the complete opposite offensively. That game was lost way before that drive. Sometimes I wonder what people are seeing.
It drives me nuts that people pin everything on the QB without understand how teams are constructed or failing to realize there are 21 other guys on the field. If it was all the QB, the elite QBs would get 80% of the cap and you surround the rest of the team with JAGS. Its not though.
QBs are far the most premium position, but they aren't exponentially so like some people want to claim.
