Really. We have eyes. They got no movement. Watching the Rams later and they handed off and I saw their OL actually move the defense back and a thought wow, that’s what an OL looks like. I’d forgotten.
Every thread is better than the next today. PFF is terrible and Ive never quite understood their rankings, we need a challenger to their reign. 13th? How is that possible
We didn't create one hole the poster who said they thought Denver was playing with 13 guys hit the nail directly on the head.
I heard on the radio that Saquon ran only 0.8 yds before 1st contact
Certainly, but the OL somewhat has a reputation of getting backs hit in the backfield frequently.
And the running back has a reputation for dancing and getting caught behind the line.
I think this is one of those data points like target separation that measures multiple things, and not a reflection of just one element.
From my view on Barkley, his dancing is not the cause of the negative runs. His dancing may result in a 2 yard run that could have been 4. In Barkley's career with the Giants him getting hit in the backfield has mostly been from defenders running free. Maybe I am not remembering correctly.

That's amazing if true. Basically he'd get the handoff and get hit
So either PFF is crap, or our backs can't read/choose the right lanes.
Which is it?
Yards before first contact is a bit of a messy data point over one game.
If a back dances, cuts to the wrong hole, or goes too wide — this number can go way down. And one big TFL can drag the number down too.
