It's not near anything in the "DC" area. Traffic used to be a disaster, but since covid it's much more manageable. Parking is expensive. The fans in the nose bleeds are dicks, but I've never gotten in a fight.
Once went with a friend and it took us over an hour and a half to get the bus to the parking lot we were in.
I've either had special parking because tickets were from a box owner or I park up the hill from the stadium for about 30 or so. Up the hill at a car dealership. It's a hike back up but oh I was on beltway in moments.
Try getting special parking from stub hub.
I try to go every year as I'm south of there a couple hours. Get a parking pass. $50 bucks is worth it.
I actually find the stadium and fans to be very welcoming to away fans. Nobody is a true asshole. It's not charming, it's in the middle of nowhere and its a pain to get in and out of. But frankly I've seen the Giants win there so many times it's like our home away from home. Good away game to go to IMO
Had a parking pass the first time and had a great time tailgating but was a cluster fuck getting out of there. After that we always took the train to and from our hotel. One thing for sure plan on spending a good amount of coin the place is a shit hole but charge like it’s a 5 star resort.
where at FedEx. It's a total shithole, but we always had a great time. My friends and I used to make it a yearly ritual to do a weekend trip to DC, and take the metro to the game.
The one time we drove was a Monday nighter (Larry Donnell's career game), and I agree with the sentiment that traffic leaving was an absolute cluster fuck.
Basically one way in, one way out. I would plan on leaving early to get there because traffic on the Beltway is going to be brutal.
Having said that....root us on to victory!
