I am certain Eric will have it up shortly, Dan Duggan of The Athletic posted that the biggest takeaway from today's session is...Don't expect the Giants to open up the offense this week as the redskins don't allow big plays.
it's that their route combinations and philosophies seem nothing like other teams. they continue to run these all curls routs in key situations and it's just mind boggling. they use motion and make it hard on defenders. our offense makes it easy on defenders.
I don't expect a lot of deep shots against an umbrella defense. I DO expect aggresive slants, crossing routes, things that can result in YAC. the button hook with the receiver standing still at the top of the route, is a staple of Garrett's pass offense. Unacceptable, and if Judge is OK with it, he's just as culpable.
Watched the Carolina game, they make a point of getting McCaffrey involved, in many ways. If they can't get push up front in the run game, still many ways to get SB involved. If we fail on that end, then shame on us.

doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Prove me wrong. If we, as arm chair whatever's, can plainly see some of the serious issues, its a BIG problem.
I'm sick of hearing HCs repeatedly say they "need to put players in position to succeed and make plays", and then they don't come close to doing so. Its one regime after the other.
If Garrett's offense sucks, Judge should recognize it real damn fast and fix the situation, before another season goes in the toilet. I'm still roaring mad and fed up with the crap coming out of coaches mouths. fix the issues, get the players to improve and perform, win some games. If they can't, they can get out.

McCaffrey is a much better player that gets positive yardage with every touch. Barkley dropped one pass, fell down on another, and was ineffective between tackles. He was involved. He was just not good.
On what planet can you compare McCaffery and Barkley. Maybe McCaffery /Cook, and Barkley/David Johnson
Forget the comparison between players for a second, and compare how the Panthers use McCaffrey in the passing game. I absolutely hate how they have Barkley loop around to the middle hook zone, turn around and just stop to wait for a pass.
Seems whenever I see McCaffery getting a ball thrown his way, he’s on the move. Requires a QB hitting the RB in stride, not always Jones’s strength with short passes, but that’s how you give Barkley the chance to turn a 5 yard pass into a 15-25 yard gain
I know the concept is when they’re playing zone, you look to sit in a hole in the zone, but there has to be a way to get him moving through those holes
RE: Frankly, this coaching staff, like previous ones

You're all over it...
They're going to see a lot of shell looks and disguising
until they can run a defense out of shells. Put some pressure on their edges with SB out of the backfield, get some passing concepts to stress those zone/shell looks, loosen it up and give SB some room underneath. If any player has a cool hand, get him outta there and try someone else.
Judge hiring Garrett may not been on him, but him not firing Garrett
Mara respects Garrett. He likes Judge, but Judge hadn't done anything to be able to swing his stick around and fire a guy he probably didn't even pick to be on his staff.
Take away what you think their strengths are force them to beat you with what they struggle at. Been this way for a VERY long time.
They will load up to stop the run and the Giants have to find a counter. More then anything Garrett needs to find plays where Jones and the O gets some confidence early.
Until they start winning first downs consistently the problems will continue. When this happens the playbook will open up.

True, conceptually, but i didn't see the Broncos load up to stop the run, and we still couldn't get anything going.

I thought they did a few times. I would like to see the Giants average down and distance on second and third down. Compare that to the better offenses in the league. Then you have to figure out the why and coach accordingly to overcome it.
are taking no prisoners. Fans pay for the product. So we have a right to be pissed. We depend on the professionals to construct a good product and put it on the field. We don’t want excuses or “ coach speak” we want results. You would think John Mara would have learned something from his father’s 64-81 shot show. Well, apparently not. I’ve tried to give the organization the benefit of the doubt about a lot of things, for years now. After Sunday’s disgraceful performance, no longer.

Full disclosure, I was about an hour behind on DVR, fast-forwarded in some spots, ended up signing off early Q4 in frustration, so I didn't see every play
It just seemed to be there were several plays where Denver was playing coverage with only 6 in the box, on 1st or 2nd down, and I recall thinking this is where we need to be able to gouge them with Saquon. But when we did run, very little success
at this point, everyone and their mom knows the game plan.
agreed 100%.

The O is just stagnant and lacks motion, movement and energy
The only thing worse than losing is being boring.
If we are going to lose let's do it with some pizazz!
