Before you even think of scheme, it's all about players. It's first about the players. Players, players, players, players, players. What do they do well? Put them in position to what they do well. And then try to match it up to the scheme.
Maybe someone should show Garett or the Mara's this
if we had a QB who capitalizes on broken plays like Hurts or Jackson. A world where Saquon leaks out and gets open in the flat and Golladay gets the opportunity to grab jump balls seems like an exciting one to me.
I've been in all in on Joe Judge from the first time I heard him speak. But at this point he either gets Garrett out of the way or he's going to wind up fired. Maybe not this year but next year.
I know a lot of great coaches started out with poor records but this fan base is so angry at the organization for the past decade and the owners are so weak when it comes to public pressure that Judge has less time than he thinks or Mara says publicly.

Judge better start doing it his way then. Because I doubt Judge was banging down the door for Garrett.
Belichick is a master at it, but it is hard to put limited players in situations where their weaknesses aren't exposed. It's not like opposing coordinators don't know what those weaknesses are.
Pop has done this with San Antonio in the NBA too. It is why these 2 guys are among the best coaches in their respective sports.
everyone here was talking about how Sirianni was in over his head after a blow out preseason loss, and now his wisdom is being shared after a win against a dogshit team.
I would assume if Garret is still here, he must be following that mandate. Either that for Judge is all talk, no action.
As long as Garret stays, you have to believe that Judge doesn't believe there is much else to be done to match player to scheme. That would mean the problem is the players.
I continue to believe that Judge and Garrett both don't have a ton of faith in Jones still or trust in his decision making. Kitchens in his one game of playcalling last year was very careful as well outside a few early playcalls.
This is what Judge preaches yet we don't see it but we saw how the Eagles offense was tailor made for Hurts.

So because Sirianni beat up a bad, bad Falcons D he’s now some model we should be following? Guy has coached one game against a bad defense. Relax.

Oh come on, they lit up an AWFUL Atlanta defense. Let's see how they do against real NFL competition before we dust off a spot in Canton.

Amazing how 1 good win apparently turns another coach some combo of Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi and Bill Belichick.
