I rarely watch Good Morning Football, and ya know its because i work during the day. So I decide to put it on because the Giants are playing tonight.
So the first thing i see is Cris Carter saying, "We beat the Giants 4 times in a row, and thats when LT was there"
this was followed by a 15 minute segment where Carter was arguing that he and Randy Moss was the best WR duo of all time.
Are they gonna start talking about anything current anytime soon?
Is this a common thing? Does he ever comment on Football outside of his own accomplishments?
I think they are auditioning for Burleson's replacement. Honestly I thought Deangelo Hall and Mike Robinson were the best so far. Carter seems like he has his own agenda and goes off script way too much. Besides, how much of the viewing audience was alive when he was playing football?
Oh...sorry about that. I assumed a team that was as dominant as you described had achieved something other than regular season success. But not everyone is built to succeed when the stakes are at their highest.

As I would often remind eagle fans when I lived near Philthy during those years - at that time, the LA Rams used to beat the 49ers during the reg season, but which team had the trophies?
And for all their bragging about owning the Giants, Buddy Ryan was 0.500 (5-5) against the Giants. And he never won a single f*ing playoff game as HC.
Go ahead a brag carter about your zero trophies.
100 times this. They were so cocky about that game beforehand
When Buddy Ryan released Carter, Ryan did one of the few decent things he ever did in his life. He covered for Carter. Carter was having drug problems & the Eagles tried earlier to get him help. When he kept falling off the wagon, the Eagles finally got tired of him and gave up. Rather than calling out the drug problems, when asked why Carter was being released he said "all he does is catch touchdowns".
When Carter was on waivers, the Giants put in a waiver claim on him. Carter thought he was going to the Giants and spoke to Parcells and was packing his stuff to head up the Turnpike to play for NYG. But the Vikings got a claim in too, and because they were ahead of the Giants, he went to the Vikings.
So for all his NYG hate, he would have won a ring with them in 1990 and things would be different.
Also, not only does he hate NYG for the 41-0, he had a big fumble in the 1993 Wild Card loss too. So he had his issues with the Giants going way back.
