One sack, Cousins literally ran into him as the end converged him inside.

Doesn't mean it wasn't a good trade.

Giants need Oline bad. Have to give something of value to get something of value.

BJ Hill was not likely getting a 2nd contract with the Giants.
especially when you consider money/cap allocated to DL

This is probably the argument why they dont pay that big second contract - they are actually good at identifying quality DTs

But that’s the point - they been able to replace them with someone just as good, at a rookie pay scale
