We didn't lose because Daniel Jones sucked...unless you count the overthrow to a wide open Slayton? I'm not a DJ fan but he actually resembled a NFL QB tonight.
slayton should have caught it, but go watch what david carr did two nights ago on the game winning TD, thats a top 10 QB. thats what jones should have done.
But you have no clue how hard it is to make that catch when it hits one hand. It wasn’t an awful throw but did people want him to catch it one handed?
watch it again. his hands were VERY close together. you act like he had ONE outstretched hand. he is an NFL WR. you catch the ball there. you think hopkins drops it? hill? adams? its a drop...its not even debatable
Really, he should have made that pass 2" shorter so Slayton could fumble that catch also? Wake the fuck up that pass was 100% money and if you think otherwise you're a fucking idiot who doesn't know shit about football at this level
a catchable ball. If it was Engram who dropped it there would be no debate about it all on BBI.
Only way he's catching that ball is if he dives...BARELY got the fingertips of his 2nd hand on it. No need to make the perfect throw right there..he actually read the safety before he threw it.
Team is simply untalented … again. And dumb. How many pre-snap penalties last 5 minutes ? And of course we are offsides on a long field goal attempt because why not.
Team is a waste of our time for the 9th year in 10.

Buddy I watch it a hundred times already. Like I said - it wasn’t an awful throw. But it never hit his second hand - therefore it can’t be a drop. For a guy that wide open - it shouldn’t have been that hard of a throw. Yes he got hit but he was open by 40 yards. If it’s underthrown by 5 yards it’s still a TD.

He probably should have. It didn’t go through his hands either… it went off his right hand finger tips.

A perfectly thrown ball hits both hands or lands in his chest - neither of which happened.

STOP, it went off one hand because he never had both hands out there which should have resulted in a catch. Even Aikman said that was a dropped pass so lets be realistic here.
Jones literally got crushed on that play, balled out tonight
He played the best game of his life and was let down by his whole team and coaches. Bad play calling, receivers dropping balls hitting them in the hands, no run game to speak of. Facing an elite Defense and he didn’t turn the ball over once, taking some punishing hits standing tall and sting in the pocket. He put this team in his back tonight and they let him down.
That throw to Slayton couldn’t be any better, he had to step into a closing pocket to avoid being sacked on his right, while. Defender made contact with him inside and would ha e hit him and made no throw if he held into the ball a second later. He still managed to hit Slayton in the hands.
Everyone has a right to be upset, mad and angry at this team right now. They are Giants alright. Giant Pussies.

HA...everyone on this thread has pointed out your idiocy except for your obvious dupes dimwit
Of course, he does. He is paid millions to do so and to argue otherwise is not only absurd but it also points to someone who needs to feed an agenda against Jones who had a helluva game.
and Garrett and Judge were too conservative after the Bradberry pick. Play action on first down would have been killer
Wasn’t a perfect deep ball, but Slayton should have has it. But this loss isn’t on Jones
I haven’t nor did anyone else say Jones cost us the game but some posters that had too much to drink are twisting arguments.

I said bin many threads Jones second half was balls out and he played really well. Guess selective reading on your mind, huh?

Yeah, that's it, as well as he not being able to adjust a deep pass 2" to Slayton that the receiver forgot he needs to use two hands on.
Spare me your nonsense
Hopefully he strings a few together, because we’ve seen him pick apart Washington before.
Bingo. He's looked good against bad teams before.
Play like this against a good team and that will change perceptions.
There are 11 players out there. If the OL is getting abused no QB can function. I'm confident if the OL holds up he can play like this consistently. The issue is good teams may dominant our OL.
When you give such a ridiculous take on the most important pass of the night.
I don't know how many pundits, commentators, analysts you need to correct you on that pass before you realize that is what a WR is paid to catch
Listen - I don’t want to argue over this anymore. It was an unfortunate play that maybe 9 times out of 10 - it would be completed. I have no agenda on Jones on that throw. I am not blaming Jones for the loss either. I just see it differently. That’s all, nothing more… nothing less.

Okay, I will leave it alone after this post
Good - hopefully next week - we will celebrate another great game by Jones after they finally win.
So many problems here.
All things considered, this is probably one of DJ's better games.
Fucking idiots both of you dupes
slayton should have caught it, but go watch what david carr did two nights ago on the game winning TD, thats a top 10 QB. thats what jones should have done.
BTW, Kenny Golladay had three dropped passes tonight.
Then either win or fire everyone and at the same time we can see what DJ could capable of doing with a less conservative play caller at the helm.
It might be a blessing in disguise.

It may have been the best game is his career
