I was wondering when his loss was going to start rearing it’s ugly head and it most certainly did last night once Washington realized they can get positive yards on the ground to sustain drives. They were attacking the B gaps with success, something that was necessarily happening last year with Dalvin in blue. I know it’s only 2 games in but his loss also seems to inadvertently affecting Williams as well as Dalvin was able to take on two blockers leaving Leonard in one on one situations. This is eerily similar to when we lost Linval to Minnesota some years back.
Graham was very concerned with the run D to start the season and said it will take a couple weeks to get in order. Let's see if that holds true.
Who the hell knows. It's like playing prevent defense on the goal line.
Next time you think the cap is not an obstacle, I give you Dalvin ...
If we aren't going to play man, then sure.
Everyone will point to Dalvin Tomlison as the 2020 savior of the defense but in reality its the coverage sacks that hit last year vs. the lack of them so far this year. And if we had Tomlinson we'd still likely have a gaping hols at CB2 so we'd be giving up points just the same.
His impact here didn't happen until Leonard Williams arrived.
The real blunder was allocating those dollars to the secondary instead of pass rush or o line
Giving jackson that money? For what we paid Rudolph we could have resigned Tomlinson
Also, that would undoubtedly work both ways - LW benefitted from DT's performance
