Here is a text with my family on a group chat. It was at this moment when Slayton dropped the wide open TD pass. Its almost as a fan of the giants for 30+ years, you just know when they will crumble even with the lead. That Giants feeling. Pretty sad if you ask me. Anyone else just "know" when shits about to go south?
SAME GIANTS DEF AS ALWAYS!
you lose 99% of the time
If we as fans know it's coming...how does the coach not know it, the GM, the owner, the players, the vendors, the parking lot attendants, everyone...
I knew it then!
I knew it then!
That was the game. Clear as day
3:49 3rd and 2 WAS 27 Penalty on Andrew Thomas: False Start, 5 yards (accepted) (no play)
3:49 3rd and 7 WAS 32 Daniel Jones sacked by Montez Sweat for -6 yards
Punt, crowd is in the game, Washington marches 90 yards for a touchdown.
I knew they would lose after that sack.
This was the SECOND time I knew it. Just confirmation after Slayton couldn't bring in TD pass.
It's really not funny being a Giants fan.
The decision not to try and score was absolutely, 100% nonsensical in every sense of the word.
The only way it wouldn't have been, was if there was like 25 seconds left in the game.
Hell - even if there was 1 minute remaining and Washington had no timeouts, YOU STILL TRY AND SCORE. This isn't 1990. Offenses advance the ball 40 yards in 2 or 3 plays.
It's the worst decision I've seen Judge make and one of the worst regular season decisions in a long time.
kicked in the nuts with penalties.
I'm done
