Lots of good analysis from Brian Baldinger this morning

Giants in 07 : 9/17/2021 11:07 am
Just scroll down his twitter feed. I look forward to when the Giants play primetime games, as he seems to break down those games more than after a full slate of games on Sunday. I enjoy his analysis, especially on the offensive line.

He thinks that the offense will get it together and more than anything, just needs time to get used to playing with each other.

He thought the O-Line had an excellent game.

I'll link to two specific posts of his in the next posts, but there's a good 8-12 videos on his feed that are all worth it.

Our best chance is Judge actually looks at the tape objectively and realize his conservative shit cost us. That game was ours to be had the whole way and it was lost more than it was one. That’s the hope.

Or he just falls on the “better execution” trap. We are about to find out if Judge is a smart guy that can adapt or just another meathead.

Where Graham called a prevent defense at the goal line...

"What defense is this?!? What defense on the goal line does this?!?"

Learning on the job isn’t ideal, but if Judge is honest with himself and is willing to adjust, I think he can still make it. If he’s stubborn and continues to play not to lose in high pressure situations he won’t last.

Look at that hole on the left side pre-snap.
I wish he reviewed the play
stoneman : 9/17/2021 11:38 am : link
where the Gs offense stacked all 11 in the middle of the field, thus stacking all 11 Wash players in the middle and then trying to run up the gut for 0 yards. Were they expecting the red sea to part.

I was watching with at my neighbors house (big outdoor screen) who’s a redskins fan and we had a nice laugh at that. Why were aren’t running more spread is beyond me and why Garrett though that was a good idea was painful to watch.
I appreciate

Balndinger's insight, even when it shows me what I don't want to see. Good stuff.
there were tons of positives about the offense last night
GiantsFan84 : 9/17/2021 11:56 am : link
really there were. you can definitely come out of last night feeling good if you assume they keep calling this type of RPO offense (not sure they will) and if they can fix the defense (they were good last year)
Love Baldy’s breakdowns......

I love Baldinger, but he said the same things last year. He likes to lean on the positive side.
Nice to hear he though Hernandez player well
BillT : 9/17/2021 12:41 pm : link
He was bad last week after a camp where he got good notices. Good play from him would go a long way.

I agree. I'm not the most knowledgeable football guy and I was concerned when they played it conservatively after Bradbury's INT and settled for a FG, with all that time and WTF timeouts left. Not good.
We lost a game we rally needed to win.
Thegratefulhead : 9/17/2021 2:38 pm : link
Again.

That penalty was a mental error.

A team devoid of talent cannot do that.

We have to be efficient and not make mental mistakes.

When we get in the red zone, we need our best execution.

I don't see any positive in it.

Wins are what I crave, no mental gymnastics are going to get me to that happy place without wins.
If I am honest
crick n NC : 9/17/2021 2:56 pm : link
Even wins that seem to come from "smoke and mirrors" may not mean much as far as the team progressing. Wins and losses certainly have context.
