I didn't see too much of this discussed in other threads, but maybe I missed it
but fwiw
I'd run that RPO until Jones legs fall off...
Imagine what Sean McVay or Stefanski or Pederson or Shanahan or Jesus... anyone with some offensive creativity would do with Jones under center?
The middle of the field is wide open for passes or if Jones keeps it he's getting 10 yards a clip... now if our rb wouldn't crumble at first contact, we'd have that too.
Add this to the list of aggravating things about this team
its a READ OPTION
an RPO has a "pass" option in it.
read option is hand it off or run it yourself, theres no pass option in the play you're referencing

Yeah I'm pretty sure we ran mostly read options. I think there was an RPO or two in there. You can't run them too much in NFL or you are playing with fire, but RPO is good to throw in there once in a while.

We def ran it once or twice, on one we got an ineligible receiver downfield on Price
If we simply ran RPO all 3 times at the 22, we win, rather easily. But we have a bonehead staff, who wont make it into '22.
