Arguably slight overthrow and he clearly doesn't have love for Jones but I think you mischaractize his view of that throw vs the malaise the 0-2 Giants are in....whatever
A couple of weeks ago he tweeted out a video of someone he knew who died and talked about how hard it must be for his wife because he knows what it's like when your spouse dies.
I saw that killer instinct from Jones last night, and saw it midway through last season, too.
He's got the fire.
People like to point to Eli being clutch vs. Jones not. It wasn't just Eli: the whole team was clutch. You didn't have Slayton not dragging his feet or dropping easy TD passes. Give Jones Plax, Toomer, Steve Smith and Kevin Boss with Bradshaw and Jacobs protecting him and Diehl/Seubert/O'Hara/Snee/McK playing their 200th game together.
Jones was battling last night and probably would've carried the team to victory had Judge allowed him to finish the game. I saw the killer instinct from Jones last night - he wanted that game.
It's clear he slows slightly and tops running full out once he saw the DB stumbled. A QB is going to throw with the anticipation that the WR is running all out. So it's on SLayton for slowing down
that Slayton SLOWED UP on his route after the ball was released and had to accelerate to have a chance to catch it- and still should have. That was a GREAT pass by Jones with defenders right in his face. laughable video!!
OJ was the problem when the Bills had bad records with him? 4-10, 3-10-1, 1-13, and 4-9-1 in his first four years. Toss in 2-12, 3-11 and 5-11 from 1976 to 1978. What a loser.
And Archie Manning stunk with the Saints, only three years when he won more than 4 games (5, 7 and 8) and never had a winning record.
Jones still has better numbers than Eli in virtually every category over their first two years and Eli had a way better cast of characters around him.
I watched that whole vide and didn’t even realize that was the Juice. Killer analysis. Absolute piece of shit take. Lowest of the low. Fucking garbage.
I was impressed by jones never said that since his first Tampa bay gam
but He could have just taken something off that and even under thrown it Slayton was all alone. I’ve seen Namath’s do it even with a defender in his face and throwing off his back foot in Sb 3(watched recently on you tube I am not that old)

Eli comparisons again. Jones had 11 tds last year what the you talking about? Eli was like 6 in the nfl in yards and tds I don’t remember starting when but whatevs. I saw Eli audible in his first game ever in his first drive that scored a TD.
He’s part of the solution. I was at the game. I watched him warm up. He was focused. Garret was in a great mood. They threw together. I fully believe Jason will be good for Daniel’s maturation.
Several plays should have been run instead of pass - I loved the designed runs to get the defense off kilter. It worked. Perfectly on that long TD run.
I thought they executed the game plan really well. The line held up in the second half. He actually looked like a decent qb back there with time. Sheppard was clearly a security blanket for him on 3rd down which Eli always had his. That’s a critical piece.
As the crowd got louder he did start to rush a bit. Looked more frenzied but not overly so. The more experience and confidence he gains I think he’ll be really good.
Throws just a great ball. Would love to see him become a star. Kid has all the potential in the world.
lol what a psycho.

That OJ, he really knows how to twist the knife.
When it comes to Jones, so to speak.
I think that Jones should hang out with OJ to learn from Simpson everything there is to know about killer instincts.
