how different would things have been around here for the past 18 hours or so? They still would have played the same horseshit football game. Would a sloppy win have tempered the frustration of an awful loss, or would you have been pretty much just as pissed off?
getting the right calls ALL game would've been nice.
Wouldn't change my assessment of the level of talent/coaching...but yeah...Id feel a lot better if they had gotten the W. Every game matters.
We still would have rightly bitched about the defense, about defensive playmakers not making plays, about the terrible sequence after the int. All that stuff in the first paragraph happened. Except for the last thing. It feels different when you lose the game.
I'd take sloppy W after sloppy W right through the hideous SB win, and iffy parade execution, with questionable coaching decisions when trying to avoid the Gatorade.
To quote a lousy owner, "Just Win, Baby."

Agree 100%. How many of us remember Daniel Jones' first win? That only happened when the Tampa Bay kicker missed a shorter field goal than the one this past Sunday on the last play of the game after the Giants gave up a long reception by not double teaming the opponent's best receiver going long.
You can get pissed, but it's true. Officiating cost them a W.
