If you saw the video he actually just timed the snap so perfect that the ref (and honestly everyone at home) thought he jumped. And I agree what’s the point of interjecting yourself in the game like that unless they blocked it. Just poor judgement, the flag does not have to come out right away and it generally doesn’t.

It's just a shame he no longer has Dalvin Tomlinson next to him.

It was offsides not encroachment, so the play would run, and it ran out the clock. And with the missed kick, even there was time left on the clock it would have been the Giants’ ball.

the game result should be changed and the Giants awarded the win.
if there was time left, then the outcome (in spite of the call) could be impacted. But the clock running out on the last play of the game is different. EXCEPT for the call the Giants win. Period.
Bad explanation (it's 1:00 AM) and i'm not going to struggle to do it better, baseball has an appeal process, that should be applied here.
