The Giants improved from Game 1 to Game 2. They played just well enough at Washington and that Game should have been a win imo. The Offense woke up and now it's time for the defense to wake up too.
With their noses firmly into the grindstone it's onto Atlanta and it's time to put a win in the books.
- The Offense still has room to grow by getting Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney up to speed and into production.
- The O-line is getting some good coaching and when it came down to it the two new guys did not equate to a step backwards. I definitely liked our new center. He looks like he's the real deal if last week was not just a flash. Bredeson needs to step up a little.
- Loved the power moves from Rudolph on the line and in the field.
- If Danny can lead the way and the Offense keeps improving look out; and if
-The defense can take a few more steps forward too;
- Ojulari and Carter building on the sack and pressure total;
- the backfield gets into more of a rhythm; the Giants can still show all the doubters a few things this year.
I still think this Coaching staff can bring out the best in these guys, and that this is the end of a losing decade. Wouldn't it be something if the Giants Offense became a powerhouse, started leading the way, and the defense started roaring too.
Go Giants!
And, seriously, I'm way over "moral victories". They are 0-2 in 2 games that could have been won and at least one should have been. Their schedule doesn't allow that.

Yep. They could lose to the Chiefs 41-0 this year and we'll have to hear about how it "wasn't so bad".
You guys root for the Giants about as well as Sanchez tags bitches out at home. :)

The team is still 0-2 despite your aimless cheerleader rant.

He was barely heard from after the 1st or 2nd series. Enough with him already.

Don't be a little girl. We can do 0-2 in our sleep.
Let's go snot Atlanta, go through 'em like Sherman.
They are indeed 0-2. But I am still f-n fantastic. :)
More of the same.

Denial is a bitch ain't it?
Ok, Sally.
Dexter was offsides.

Where you been? Do a Google search. Might help you out here.
Show me something different, then I’ll believe.

turned a corner? Win or lose, they got torched on D by a nobody QB.
Well said
I’ve thought coaching was the problem in this organization for a long time. Players over the years, just haven’t improved. Schemes don’t seem to fit the players. Philosophies on how to play offense and defense don’t seem to make sense and keep up with the times.
I’m not a Garrett fan, but I give him credit for quickly changing his approach and base the offense off RPO- because that plays to his QBs strengths. Hats good coaching. The defense, on the other hand, I can’t understand what the hell Graham is trying to do. He’s not taking away the run, he’s not covering the pass, he’s not aggressively going after the QB. Maybe the players are terrible a d not buying into what he’s selling. But almost 1000 yards I two weeks to Bridgewater and Heineke?
Someone help me understand. What am
I missing here. I’m just an armchair fan since 1966.
I remember the days of LT when BB philosophy was “see QB, smash QB”. Worked pretty well.
That’s a byproduct of the Super Bowl wins in 07 and 11, in my opinion, which is hard to argue against!
But 15-35 under Gettleman is, too.
Showed glimpses of things on offense, knew it was going to be a work in progress getting all pieces worked back in and finding an identity on offense. They showed growth from game 1 to 2, but I know that growth won’t be linear, there will certainly be more bumps.
Defense getting off to slow start is surprising. Ojulari is flashing a bit though and I think edge pressure is the area where the Giants have tremendous room for improvement on defense, that is definitely Achilles heel right now. Doesn’t need to be sacks, just more consistent rush from outside. Tackles aren’t threatened enough, forces coordinator to rely on blitz for pressure. Ojulari flashing is encouraging, on a related note his little brother is off to a strong start at LSU this year with 4.5 sacks through 3 games.

In terms of frequency, we're blitzing in the bottom half of the league (obviously small sample size here). Given the blitz frequency (or lack thereof) and the zone tendency, it seems like Graham doesn't trust his coverage for some reason.
