Every decision we make is the wrong one. Coaches, players, GMs. Whatever we do is just not gonna work out.
Look at Carolina. We could’ve had Rhule but we chose against it. Now he’s actually improving that team. He made progress from year 1 to year 2 (something that just seems impossible for us for some reason). Matt Rhule has somehow made Darnold a real QB in a single offseason
Bad thing about living in NY is that I'd rather watch other more appealing games like Pitt/LV or the Browns game yet I'm stuck watching two boring teams in the Jets and Patriots.
and there are less than 5 QBs who we can say consistently play well. All of the rest struggle at times and some more than others due to the usual factors (pieces around them and coaching).
He has the legs for it, why doesn't he? The OL has been better this year but still I never seen him scramble and try to extend plays. The most he'll do is find a hole up the middle and run which is good but he never moves side to side to avoid tacklers. Is it true Garrett teaches staying in the pocket? I get it worked in Dallas with that wall but on the Giants with a sus OL he has to give Jones more freedom to extend plays.

There are 8 or so that are mostly great. Sure they may have a couple of bad games but they are mostly great.
as he throws his 4th INT but probably won't get it. All the arm chair QBs and media will go back to bashing Daniel Jones for not playing well enough vs Washington....

Brady, Mahommes, Rogers are about all I can count. Who am I missing that is mostly great?

Are there people who seriously blamed Jones for the Giants not winning against Washington ?
it seems it's an organizational issue when draft picks become busts. It seems for both Giants and Jets, no matter who they pick they underwhelm. Darnold had promise yet was driven out of town and looks better on another team. Wilson looks like crap so far so I wonder whether this is more of a Jets issue than the player. Same goes for the Giants. I say this acknowledging Jones has looked good the first two games and Thomas is trending up but historically it's an issue.
Sam Darnold was another QB who was put in a no win situation similar to Jones first 2 years. Be careful what you wish for with Jones.

Maybe Wilson, but even him declined the second half of last season (including his stinker against us). Overall those are the only 3 who will be consistent all year. Allen needs to prove last year wasn't a fluke.

Mike Vick on ESPN said it was Jones' fault because he didn't put that throw to Slayton in the bread basket. I suggest Mike Vick go back and look at the All 22 and watch the DL directly in his face while make that throw...
How is it possible that Damien was able to get yards, inconceivable
You mean RB are allowed to gain yards even after contact ? Wouldn't know after Watching Barkley fall immediately to the ground the second someone puts a fingernail on him
Brady, Mahommes, Rogers are about all I can count. Who am I missing that is mostly great?
Russell Wilson? Allen?
I like Allen, I think Wilson is debatable at this point. However even with both of them its only up to 5. My point is BBI seems to think there are plenty of these guys around, there aren't. Jones game last week was as good as anyone outside of the top few. He just needs to keep it up

Not only that, But Slayton slowed down 1st . No idea what Vick was watching on that play. Also, Slayton admitted he should have dove for it as well
Just bizarre to even think about criticizing Jones who gave the Giants 350 totla yards with 0 turnovers while the Defense played like shit, Barkley continues to do nothing, Coaching was terrible, and Lawrence was wrongfully called for an offside that cost them the game on the last play
7-3 SF. What a turn around

if Sam Darnold turns out to be good. I doubt it but it would be funny.
Darnold is good as you are seeing.
He’s better than last week. He did good not turning the ball over but every pass was like 5 yards.

we'll see. He still ahs terrible lower body mechanics, a weird motion and terribly inconsistent.

Only matters if he would bring Joe Brady.
Guy is getting a HC gig next year.

Darnold off to a good start. Always liked Rhule. If we don't start winning and Carolina does it will certainly be talked about.

Are you serious? Was he literally crying??

They said that about Brett Farve too.

Well that’s no surprise and why you should crown old teams after 6 quarters of football (plus all the other reasons)

1. Mahomes
2. Rodgers
3. Brady
4. Russell Wilson
5. Lamar Jackson
6. Josh Allen
7. Herbert
8. Murray
9. Stafford
10. Prescott
You have questions about Russell Wilson? Then you have no judgement. I would deal half our team for Wilson.

First as usual you go personal. No reason to be a jerk. Second, Prescott/Stafford/Murray/Herbert/Jackson are not "mostly great" in my opinion.
