dallas offense is MUCH more talented than the chargers...they will win a score for score game. perfect example, both qbs have a pick, dallas still up 2 scores. i want dallas to lose, but i dont see it happening AT ALL

also chargers put up 20 on washington...we put up 29...how great can the cahrgers offense be?
As the top 2 guys on Dallas. Yes without Gallup it’s a wash. The difference is the Chargers defense is much better than Cowboys. The difference today is going to be at QB (although the Chargers look sloppy offensively)
Bleed blue….because Herbert turned it over twice in the redzone
and they honestly probably could have scored on that last drive.
herbert is great but you cant say oh they only scored 20 becasue they turned ball over. thats part of being a good/great offense.
dallas offense is better....im not sure how anyone unbias can even argue that. cowboys defense blows, def worse than chargers but the offense for dallas is 100% better...its barely close. hoping charger defense gets it together...

I just told you why they only scored 20 and it was as because of Herbert. He played well even with those two turnovers but they would have had probably 10 more. The Chargers OL blew WFT off the ball all day and they couldn’t cover. Talent wise this Chargers offense is barely below the Boys. The difference is Dak is a seasoned QB and Herbert is in his second year.
The Cowboys OL has holes in it and right now one of
their best guys is hurt. The Chargers overall right now have almost an equal unit. They killed WFT last week. Made signings and drafted people. Slater played great last week and they have all pro linsey.

you are just hating on dallas. they have better offensive talent almost at every position except 1 or 2

Generally yeh but they have two major injuries. You are massively underrating guys like Cook, Ekeler, and Allen.

Herbert is already better than Dak.
herbert is gonna be great but he isnt better than dak at this point in time.

who are their "major" injuries? martin is back....gallup is out but lamb and cooper is as good a 1-2 as you will see.
they have 2 very good backs and 2 solid TEs. their OL is still fantastic.
if dallas defense was any good, they would be talked about for a deep playoff run, but their defense cant stop a nosebleed so they are going nowhere, but as it stands they are definitely more talented than chargers offense
they almost allowed a TD at the end of the half. Somehow they're only down 3
Just very sloppy offensively and why? The Cowboys have the worst defense in the league right now. Literally just shooting themselves in the foot over and over again.
I agree. Overall Chargers have a better line. Fans don’t realize that Dallas isn’t in their prime anymore on the O line. This isn’t 2016 anymore. Skill wise Chargers matchup closely with them with the edge to Dallas.
RE: RE: Neither QB looks great in this TB/ATL game
Falcons of us are like spitting image of backend of Eli’s career.
brady throwing 4 TDs must be a mirage lol
lots of bad takes from you today brudda
Dude I’m watching the game. He just got set up with another gimme. He’s personally playing decent but he’s playing pitch and catch out here with no pressure. For the billionth time, stats don’t tell the whole story. Evans is fucking toasting guys and they are leaving Gronk open pretty much because of all the other weapons. That defense is really bad, we better score close to 30 next week.
He moved to pass rusher and is wrecking havoc today. He would have solved many of this teams defensive issues. I seriously don't get it. They didn't want him because of character issues, despite nothing coming out about him since and the guy they drafted has had questions about him since he's been drafted. Not saying I give up on Toney but I simply don't get this team.

i agree with you here zeke. parsons is SO overhyped. he is lost in space as a LBer. he is probably at best a DE and pass rusher....and with someone wrecking havoc, herbert is certainly handling it fine....he is torching dallas
the guy the Giants thought Kadarius Toney was, with a monster TD.
LOL dude TWO FUCKING GAMES. relax. dude missed entire offseason. give him a chance
Seriously not to mention dude had no one with 10 yards of him.
Rondale Moore has better 40 and better vert than Toney.
Rondale Moore was great in college when he was available — but he was always hurt. If he can stay healthy in the NFL, he'll make a bunch of amazing plays. Seems unlikely though.
If the Falcons coach wasn’t an idiot testing the teeth
is why Herbert is already better than Dak. Dak can't make that throw. Only a few QBs can.
There’s about a billion things more important than that as your foundation, but it’s no doubt a nice to have. Defendants are seeing something on tape though because for a guy with a rocket arm he has an usually amount of balls that get jumped.

Because we drafted Ojulari who's on pace for a 17 sack season? It's early yet.
If history is any cue the Chargers are going to lose this one
Are you watching the same game as me? Brady honestly hasn’t looked all that great or they’d have more points and Bucs secondary is hot garbage right now. Plus their special teams have been garbage.
That was the one weakness and couldn’t afford an injury there. The Bucs probably most talented team in league but that secondary just isn’t all that good and it’s abysmally deep.
Them winning would actually be huge for us. Big upset in divisional road game is almost always flat city the week after.
I agree that the flow is being interrupted in what should be a very good game. But the penalties they have called have been legit. Chargers are just committing penalty after penalty. Diggs took two penalty on that ill-fated drive where Herbert threw a terrible throw.
Last week Herbert with 2 timely late game turnovers, this week with 1 so far. If he was in NY, people would be wanting to fire everyone and draft a new QB

no they wouldn't, because Herbert has unreal athletic traits.

I guess illegal shift on a great Td play will suffice.

The quarterback in New York now has some pretty good athletic skills too and he get los roasted pretty regularly.
But do you see he’s looking off receivers and very rapidly checking his different receiving options. The talent jumps off the screen. Why isn’t he on our team?

The defenders are able to jump rockets that are accurate. He’s telegraphing what he’s doing with the ball somehow. There’s literally no other explanation for it.

I saw Jones doing the same thing Thursday. It is what a QB can do when he has plenty of time in the pocket.

Saved 10 yards for forward progress, and the ball didn’t make it to the line so it was grounding, where he threw it from
But the refs are in the Cowboys pockets....I am rooting for the Chargers and if prople are so biased they cannot see that the Chargers are actually committing the penalties then I do not know what to say. They are calling penalties on the Cowboys too.
Is this for real. Did you not see the 14 points negated by dumb penalties? He did throw a bad INT but he played well overall. This is a poor take by an angry fan

Lol what game did you watch dude. He played okay last week, but okay would be fucking charitable for this one. If we only put up 17 on that defense without Lawrence and DJ gets that type of time I’ll lead the scouting team myself for the next one. Herbert has something on film because it makes no sense how these guys are jumping accurate rockets.
All those people chalking up the Chargers as an L should probably

I've watched this dude for the last 2 weeks. You'd think he was already inducted into the HoF listening to some. He played pedestrian and made major mistakes that cost his team the game this week. I expect more from him in his second year, especially when he plays the east.
with all of those penalties. But the Giants are the worst team in the division until proven otherwise. The Dallas offense is going to turn Picasso's masterpiece into a Jackson Pollock. In fact, the Giants don't have the right to say they are better than anyone in football right now until proven otherwise. Their defense is not at an NFL level and won't be unless there is a massive change in philosophy and scheme.
Hebert throws a pick in the endzone, the Chargers have a TD called back. Bacally 11 pts. Meanwhile we get a TD erased by a phantom holding call and Dex gets called offsides on a terrible call.

The announcer last week was embarassing. Seriously, you'd think the guy was a sure fire lock for Canton, let alone elite QB. He's definetly going to be fine in the long run, but there is something on film this year because teams are jumping all over him, even with accurate lasers.

I hope this evens out eventually.
I honestly feel a lot better for now after watching the Eagles and Cowboys today.

Unless Graham can come up with a better strategy than a 4 man rush that rarely threatens the quarterback, backed up by a soft zone, the Giants won’t beat any of their opponents I watched today.
Can we believe going into week three we feel better about the offense than the defense.
through 3 games last season than we’ve seen so far through 2 games this season. No idea if we see the same adjustment or not but it happened last year so it’s something to go off of.

Really? You feel better? Wish I had what you're drinking.
Did you see the same Cowboys team I did? The Chargers let them off the hook with a billion penalties and sloppy QB play. It's criminal they only scored 17 against that defense. The HC is a good playcaller and nice scheme, but his team was undisciplined beyond belief.
I'll re-evaluate after next week, but the big thing holding the team back so far is coaching. That can be fixed. We saw Garrett make massive strides this week. Ironically, Graham gets another bite at the apple because Ryan doesn't want to push the ball down the field anymore and their offensive coordinator is as dumb as our conservative play calling has beeen. He ran into the teeht of the Bucs defense multiple times on key plays.
The Cowboys, to their credit, were smart enough not to do that and take advantage of the Bucs poor secondary. It was too little too late for ATL today. I can't tell who has a worse defense right now the Cowboys or ATL.
Cowboys Eagles next week and I was tempted to take Eagles getting
If this has already been discussed. I just read that Micah Parsons was playing DE today for Dallas. I am interested how his athletic ability translated to playing DE, especially rushing the passer. Did anyone key on him today?

He looked good, but I doubt it's sustainable. Can't imagine he has a plethora of moves.

4 until I remembered they lost some old vets in that one.
Might be a who has the ball last wins game. I don’t think either D will stop the other team much at all.
I think the Boys are a better team but not by much and the best I can hope for is they beat the crap out of each other so the next week they both are sluggish and lose.

He looked pretty solid.
Parsons played DE in high school. And was recruited by PSU to play DE. But he was so insanely good standing up Franklin moved him to LB.
Before Covid hit, PSU was going to use him on kick off returns and at RB. That's how highly the staff thought of him...

I didn’t want to start a new thread on this. But his performance in the 2nd half yesterday was special. Down 15 in the 2nd half against a strong run D on the road in a loud environment, and a RB puts the team on his back to complete the comeback and win the game.
The way he gets stronger as the game goes on has been a trademark of his, and yesterday was an amazing example of it. 41 freaking touches for the RB in 2021! I wonder if he can make a run at 2000 yards on the ground again, whether it’s in 16 or 17 games.

Vrabel better hope so because they really aren't a good offense without it. For fantasy purposes, I also hope so.
Julio looks like he still has gas left in the tank
And AJ Brown was a disaster yesterday but he is a hell of a player. Henry/Jones/Brown with a solid QB like Tannehill ain’t bad at all. But their OL isn’t very good and people are trashing their OC.
It’s just interesting to me that an old school back like Henry can stand out so much as the exception to the “RBs aren’t valuable” rule so much.
Brady killing it as an old school pure pocket passer and Henry dominating as an old school bellcow is just nice to see imo.

How’d you get Henry? You’ve been very vocal over the years about your strategy of drafting WR over RB in the first couple of rounds. Did you stray from your preferred method of drafting? Can’t imagine Henry dropping much past the top 5 or 6 overall in any draft
too high for WR (Adams ended up going 7). My philosophy isn't to ignore RB, its to not go into drafts thinking you need RB/RB. This is also my preferred approach, doesn't mean I lock myself into this line of thinking no matter what.
Giants win on Eli Manning day, 27-3.
They have like 1 dude that would start for any other team. Herbert better light them up.
Moronic.
And we might hang up 40 right back . I’m watching Bucs Falcons and somehow the Boys have a worst defense than the Falcons and they are missing Lawrence now
That was a pretty damn good play by Diggs, but it belays the point why? There’s 10 other scrubs out there.
agree. A bit disheartening to watch. Whatever doubt there was about Dak should be gone by now. He's the goods and that sucks.
yea, like attack ANYONE else.
INT by dak.
Also, found in interesting parsons to DE.
honestly, its probably a long term move. parsons is fuckuign lost in space at LBer and pass rush is his best wuality....that would be awesome if he is a bust as early as he was drafted
good coaching and gameplan. nowadays, we pay money for press man corners and sit in soft zone or play off man
Let’s see what they do against some actual NFL defenses. Gronk has been uncovered a ton. Playing possibly the NFLs worst two defenses week 1 and 2.
Brady honestly doesn’t look all that sharp this week, missing quite a few throws so far.
Yep, and Chargers looking very bad, getting blown off the line.
Are you serious? The Chargers offense is infinitely more talented than Boys defense. Herbert needs to deliver.

networks always suck their dicks...its ridiculous
If they go into LA and beat the Chargers, after taking Tampa in Tampa to the limit, they deserve any bandwagoning they get.
On Dak’s pass to Ceedee Lamb, I haven’t seen a Giants QB have that much time and space to throw in over a decade.

herbert is great but you cant say oh they only scored 20 becasue they turned ball over. thats part of being a good/great offense.
dallas offense is better....im not sure how anyone unbias can even argue that. cowboys defense blows, def worse than chargers but the offense for dallas is 100% better...its barely close. hoping charger defense gets it together...

Seriously not to mention dude had no one with 10 yards of him.

40s and verts mean jack shit
you are just hating on dallas. they have better offensive talent almost at every position except 1 or 2

Herbert is already better than Dak.

their best guys is hurt. The Chargers overall right now have almost an equal unit. They killed WFT last week. Made signings and drafted people. Slater played great last week and they have all pro linsey.

Generally yeh but they have two major injuries. You are massively underrating guys like Cook, Ekeler, and Allen.
Kickers are too darn good nowadays

who are their "major" injuries? martin is back....gallup is out but lamb and cooper is as good a 1-2 as you will see.
they have 2 very good backs and 2 solid TEs. their OL is still fantastic.
if dallas defense was any good, they would be talked about for a deep playoff run, but their defense cant stop a nosebleed so they are going nowhere, but as it stands they are definitely more talented than chargers offense
I mean you could block these guys.
Just very sloppy offensively and why? The Cowboys have the worst defense in the league right now. Literally just shooting themselves in the foot over and over again.
Yea Brady only has 4 TDs in 34 minutes of football. He doesn't look great at all.
brady throwing 4 TDs must be a mirage lol
lots of bad takes from you today brudda

Dude I’m watching the game. He just got set up with another gimme. He’s personally playing decent but he’s playing pitch and catch out here with no pressure. For the billionth time, stats don’t tell the whole story. Evans is fucking toasting guys and they are leaving Gronk open pretty much because of all the other weapons. That defense is really bad, we better score close to 30 next week.
He was also awful last week. Can we stop with these crazy knee jerk reactions . My lord.
i know its coming back (chargers OL sucks balls zeke)
but WOw that throw
Quote:
He moved to pass rusher and is wrecking havoc today. He would have solved many of this teams defensive issues. I seriously don't get it. They didn't want him because of character issues, despite nothing coming out about him since and the guy they drafted has had questions about him since he's been drafted. Not saying I give up on Toney but I simply don't get this team.
He was also awful last week. Can we stop with these crazy knee jerk reactions . My lord.
i agree with you here zeke. parsons is SO overhyped. he is lost in space as a LBer. he is probably at best a DE and pass rusher....and with someone wrecking havoc, herbert is certainly handling it fine....he is torching dallas
i know its coming back (chargers OL sucks balls zeke)
but WOw that throw
They literally just gave him ten yards so he can make that throw and it’s a Ticky tack downfield call. Yeh.
agree zeke, parsons moving to end is a huge L and thats if he even sticks as an edn
one throw makes him better? stop. dak is better right now but not sure how long this will be case

Sadly they play the GET RIGHT team next week.
Why exactly do we think the Falcons stink?
Tampa is pretty good, right?

No free wins in the NFL. Need to bring it even to beat the “bad” teams. Especially early in the year

Great pt. Been saying that for ever. 👍

Romo said it went 64 yards in the air. And he just made another one up the sideline with an inch of space. Insane.

Lol to the dude that said Herbert is better than Dak right now.
Good prediction on the interception at the end of the 3rd Q, and then the Cowboys run to midfield on their first play.
yes bad pick
I agree that the flow is being interrupted in what should be a very good game. But the penalties they have called have been legit. Chargers are just committing penalty after penalty. Diggs took two penalty on that ill-fated drive where Herbert threw a terrible throw.
Lot s of time left Sean
(Sarcasm off)
These two teams are bada**. Really entertaining football.
no they wouldn't, because Herbert has unreal athletic traits.
Quote:
Last week Herbert with 2 timely late game turnovers, this week with 1 so far. If he was in NY, people would be wanting to fire everyone and draft a new QB

Unreal receiver talent too.

The quarterback in New York now has some pretty good athletic skills too and he get los roasted pretty regularly.
Two TDs taken away by penalties today for the Chargers.
Well, I guess the entire Charger team is screwing the pooch.
Seriously this 4 th quarter, for sure
I will repeat what I just said - they are only calling what the players are doing. Not their faults these teams are committing penalty after penalty.
He had an hour to throw it out of the back of the end zone if nobody was open
Ok, then it is intentional grounding - which one are you taking?
Nobody’s talking about that right now you psycho.
Interesting take
The defenders are able to jump rockets that are accurate. He’s telegraphing what he’s doing with the ball somehow. There’s literally no other explanation for it.
I saw Jones doing the same thing Thursday. It is what a QB can do when he has plenty of time in the pocket.
Ekler was there. It wasn’t close to grounding
Quote:
give me a break, terrible call.

he had a receiver near the ball.
Quote:
But do you see he’s looking off receivers and very rapidly checking his different receiving options. The talent jumps off the screen. Why isn’t he on our team?

Once again. 👍
But the refs are in the Cowboys pockets....I am rooting for the Chargers and if prople are so biased they cannot see that the Chargers are actually committing the penalties then I do not know what to say. They are calling penalties on the Cowboys too.

No there wasn't. And he was at least 5 yards short of the LoS.

Not even close. Maybe 8 yards away if he's lucky
Or next week.
Herbert killed game with redzone INT
Dumb asses
The Giants did not make that many mistakes and penalties.
Is this for real. Did you not see the 14 points negated by dumb penalties? He did throw a bad INT but he played well overall. This is a poor take by an angry fan
Yep but they had better playcalling the QB was just a lot worse. I mean that Boys defense is TERRIBLE right now.

I've watched this dude for the last 2 weeks. You'd think he was already inducted into the HoF listening to some. He played pedestrian and made major mistakes that cost his team the game this week. I expect more from him in his second year, especially when he plays the east.
Dallas 1-1
Philly 1-1
Wash 1-1
Giants 0-2
Dallas 1-1
Philly 1-1
Wash 1-1
Giants 0-2
Yep, but I don't know if you noticed, but we had a win stolen from us and the East looks stinky, again. 9 wins is almost a lock to make the playoffs.
I hope this evens out eventually.

Absolutely agree.

Hebert throws a pick in the endzone, the Chargers have a TD called back. Bacally 11 pts. Meanwhile we get a TD erased by a phantom holding call and Dex gets called offsides on a terrible call.

Really? You feel better? Wish I had what you're drinking.
Costly turnovers by Herbert in Dallas territory were important factors. The INT by Diggs was a great play.
Twenty penalties is just insane for the product. The game was borderline unwatchable.
If Dallas is smart they trade Zeke at the end of the year. Pollard is ready to be the primary.
He looked good, but I doubt it's sustainable. Can't imagine he has a plethora of moves.
Quote:
If this has already been discussed. I just read that Micah Parsons was playing DE today for Dallas. I am interested how his athletic ability translated to playing DE, especially rushing the passer. Did anyone key on him today?

Thanks Zeke.

Thanks, his insane athletic ability make him very intriguing.

It’s just interesting to me that an old school back like Henry can stand out so much as the exception to the “RBs aren’t valuable” rule so much.
Brady killing it as an old school pure pocket passer and Henry dominating as an old school bellcow is just nice to see imo.
Quote:
I didn’t want to start a new thread on this. But his performance in the 2nd half yesterday was special. Down 15 in the 2nd half against a strong run D on the road in a loud environment, and a RB puts the team on his back to complete the comeback and win the game.

How’d you get Henry? You’ve been very vocal over the years about your strategy of drafting WR over RB in the first couple of rounds. Did you stray from your preferred method of drafting? Can’t imagine Henry dropping much past the top 5 or 6 overall in any draft
