The falcons are interesting..they have 2018 Giants vibes to me...taking a top skill player instead of ripping the bandaid off at QB.
This week is all on the defense IMO...Coverage issues aside, Williams and Lawrence have been silent through 2 weeks. Matt Ryan is probably the least mobile QB in football right now, so if theres a week these guys can wake up and get after it, its this one.
about the Dallas D being improved week 2 over week 1. There is a very obvious answer there, the Chargers Ol is beat up and just couldn't deal with the speed of the Dallas D. Herbert also had a bad game and a lot of stupid penalties cost the Chargers. If am a Dallas fan I am more worried how their O could only produce 17pts after what it did against TB. BUT, people forget TB gave them 4 turnovers and a few in the Red zone.

Can we acknowledge that there's something up with Toney without it being a declaration that he's permanently a bust?
It's just my personal POV, but the fact that Toney doesn't even get any run on the return teams suggests to me that he's in Judge's doghouse. And that, combined with what sounds like a slow absorption of the playbook, does signal some red flags.
The jury is still out on Toney, no question about it - he may still turn into a good or even great player, but the early returns are not encouraging, even after just two games.
I don't think we should be putting Parsons in the hall yet, Norton was
literally playing in the XFL. He may not even be an NFL player. That's where he did most his damage. People are remembering the sack, but Herbert literally had all day before he tried to get rid of it. Primetime next week against the Eagles and they have two very good tackles. I think we see a different story.

If there's a gap in absorbing the playbook, it's entirely possible that there could be a learning issue at play. It may not justify a pejorative term like "moron," but the sentiment wouldn't necessarily be inaccurate.
The viewpoints that everybody's else rookies are killing it
while the NYG's rookies aren't don't have to reach such extremes after just two games to make a point.
But it is completely reasonable to want something out of Toney when you see other first years guys contributing within the game and even making plays when put in a good position. That Right Tackle of the Chargers was bad, but at least Dallas was making his life awful by keeping the pressure with a full dose of Micah Parsons the whole game. Oweh was often going against Joe Thuney last evening and his presence was still felt.
There simply has got to be more ways to get Toney involved in an Offensive and Special Teams game plan, no matter his limitations this summer. It's not like the Offense is overwhelmed right now with guys only making impact plays and/or no mistakes.

I am with this team through the GOOD and the BAD. Have been and always will be. I appreciate being a Giant fan and the great memories it has provided me during my entire life. I won't abandon them now because they are struggling as an organization.

So far all Toney has done is walk around with his hood up and smile a la. Max Headroom! Something just ain’t right there!
that WFT took at 19. Dave told Jeremiah on NFL Network that. So they recognized they needed a impact LB. They also acknowledged a couple of lineman they liked were picked in rounds 2 and 3.
I think it is premature on Toney. If he is in the doghouse then Judge needs to find a way to lead him out of it pronto.

There’s no comparison, Giants are failing to put together a solid team overall. Starters and especially depth! Look at the Cowboys and the quality of players they have drafted in the past 3 or 4 years?! Their offensive line online says it all! Now they are working on their defense and doing a good job of it. Can we say that about the Giants? No.. Thus the reason the Giants are in the position they are now.. PArsons went before our pick. I wanted him badly here, but we didn't pass on him. We didn't even trade away from him.
I think you have that wrong. Dallas traded back, it was our pick next, we could have drafted Parsons but then we traded back.
Correct, we moved out of that spot so he was there if we wanted him.

And Parsons was never in the conversation, IIRC, is what you said..sorry if I mis-remembered.
