Was there any doubt who the league or refs wanted to win that game? Ridiculous! They take 2 TDs for the Chargers off the board for ticky-tacky penalties. Meantime, there was a pass in the end zone where the Cowboy defender was completely screening the Charger receiver and not even looking back for the ball. No PI call.
Dak Prescott is completing 76.5% of his passes, which is almost the same rate that opposing QBs have achieved against our defense after two games.
Dak is also averaging 320 yards passing per game, so he's salivating over his two upcoming games against the Giants.

Who would have said this, let alone thought this before the season began?
Some were saying our secondary is the top 5 secondary in all the NFL.
Are they still saying that today?
But….I hope Graham is learning just as I hope Garrett and Judge are learning through their mistakes.
top 5?
Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, Wilson, Allen may have a claim in it. And Murray and Jackson are right there as well.
I'm looking at it through the "If I were starting an NFL franchise and I had to name the top 5 QBs who would they be" kind of lense.
But yeah - I get what you're saying.
Just an awful officiated game.
I am not suggesting anything nefarious beyond bad officiating, but the Chargers were the unfortunate recipient of the bulk of it.
Did you watch the game? There was some bizarre situations, especially the penalties.
I just saw the INT Herbert threw in the end zone from a different angle. Herbert was targeting Allen to run a slant and Allen was going to be there. A total timing route.
But Allen got tripped by Kearse and fell down. And the more I see it, the more I think it was intentional.
It was just one of those days for the Chargers...

to show me he's this can't miss end all be all QB. He was nice year 1, his team scored 385 pts while he posted very very impressive stats, but they are just stats. His talents are for real. Go out and score points and win games before I buy in that he's the next Dan Fouts.

Allen fell, or tripped, at least 3 times yesterday. 2 of them in key situations,
either one of which is a score.
I get the in the grasp call after 10 yards of Herbert going backwards, but you most often see the QB get the benefit.
Herbert is the real deal; not that I dislike DJ, but JH is special….wish he’d come out when we hoped.

ok...cool. Still waiting.
It's almost as if the new coaching staff and system is causing some problems for Justin this year.

You may be stubborn, but you aren't stupid.
If you could trade Jones straight up right now for Herbert you do it without blinking. Surely you see his amazing throwing skills...
