Need flex advice in a 0.5 ppr
WR - Robby Anderson tonight @ HOU
RB - D. Harris NE vs. NO
WR - Galloday vs. ATL
WR - Devonte Smith @ DAL
Other starters - RB Eckler and Barkley; WR - CD Lamb & Lockette.
This league we get bonus points for 40+ yard TD which is where R. Anderson is valuable.
Thanks in advance!
I think I am rolling with Golladay as his targets have been strong and he’s playing the Falcons. He also offers that 40 yard bonus potential as he used to catch the deep ball quite a bit in Detroit.
Based on fantasypros consensus rankings they favor Smith by a wide margin. 92% vs. Anderson, 95% vs. Golladay, and 79% vs. Damien Harris.
Yes, week 1 he had the long TD but man that's a gamble because it was his only reception (and just two other targets).
he's probably your best option, but I don't love it.
Also bonus points for spelling almost every single name wrong except Barkley, Harris and Lamb lol.
It's a .5PPR.
I have D.Goedert as my TE1 and have J.Jones, K.Cupp, D.Smith as my other three WRs, so Ruggs would be more of boom/bust guy for me. However, I still have hopes for Aiyuk.

I dropped Aiyuk for Ruggs earlier this week.
For one, the league I had Aiyuk is not PPR where I like him more, but I read he basically played himself out of a job.
Not saying he's done and bury him, but I think he'll need to earn back his role. Especially with Deebo healthy and apparently sherfield beating him out.
I think Ruggs is a safer bet to become a viable fantasy contributor.

is he worth picking up while dropping either E.Engram or B.Aiyuk from my bench?

Is that what you think is going on with Aiyuk? I think it was that he hasn't practiced much because of injury, but it's a weird situation. I want to buy low on Aiyuk, but the specter of your thinking over this situation has me hesitant. That said, I would not be surprised to see him have a midseason resurgence. I just am having trouble figuring the upside on this one. I think he's a big talent, but sometimes that doesn't matter.
this was after week 1, and week 2 he had just 2 targets.

After a hot start to training camp, Brandon Aiyuk tailed off dramatically. He is still learning how to be a pro. Kyle Shanahan, clearly, favors some of the other WRs right now. Message sent.
"Also, Trent Sherfield has earned the right to be out there more.”
Shanahan wouldn’t go as far to say that Aiyuk lost his job, but his Week 1 usage tells the story.
“Aiyuk hadn’t gone the last 10 days with his hamstring and Sherfield was pushing as it was,” Shanahan said. “I was planning on them getting a lot in, rotating the both of them and all five guys that were up today. I don’t know how many plays he had but I’m sure it was less than expected.”...
While I like Ruggs, he seems to be on a streaky Raiders team that is on a passing tear (their running game sucks) right now, but how much longer before Ruggs returns to his 3-4 deep passes per game role. His floor seems awfully low.
Tannehill vs Colts
Fields vs Browns
Tannehill vs Colts
Fields vs Browns
Based on how the Colts have played, Tannehill over Fields. Fields is going to score points with his legs for sure, but he's going to show that he's still a rookie against that pass rush. And Tennessee WRs are going to eat up that Colts secondary.
Through 2 weeks(Targets/receptions/yards/TD's):
Renfrow-16/11/127/0
Ruggs-12/7/159/1
Ruggs had a 61 yard TD in there. I'm not taking that away because he is a big play threat, but Renfrow is def more of a consistent target in that offense, IMO.
I think Renfrow will put up better numbers each week and be more of a consistent FF WR whereas Ruggs will be hit or miss.
The one thing that pushes the needle towards Ruggs, IMO is the snap counts. He's playing more than Renfrow, but when Renfrow is in the game, Carr looks for him.
