Young Dan looks good. Real good. More time working with WRs will go along way imo
Damn shame about Shane and Gates. Hopefully the line can start getting some semblences of coordination. But losing 2 starters really 3 if you think about Peart tough stuff, football game of attrition. Should be good to EE hit the field again and another week for SQ
Lets talk D. Hopefully we can get some better coverage in the iddle of the field on 3rd downs.. If they can start to figure out that it will be a much better D everywhere else. Adoree looks like he is starting to get his wheels back. Need to put Peppers on field on 3rd down covering the TE not the LBr.
Rush the damn Lbrs on 3rd down instead.
Going to Enjoy Eli celebration.. I never seen someone so amazing put up with so much stupid. Should have another ring Fk Reeeech and NY Mediots.
I feel like Eli went through ridicule from day one until he retired.
Uh, yes?
Ha! funny
He did; I remember them talking about it in the 2007 Giants' America' Game. Even Phil Simms caught a lot of flak; even when the Giants were doing well in 1986, he was booed during the second game against the Cowboys.

Did Eli go through the same ridiculous stupid that DJ has ?

Simms had a propensity for throwing picks (and several pick sixes) in crucial moments of close games early in his career. It's one reason Parcells made him the backup. He had 19 INTs his second year, and 18, 20 and 22 INTs from 1984-86. This was at a time the Giants were probably throwing 25 passes a game. And I don't recall Eli getting anywhere near the criticism in his first two and a half years that Jones has.
Jones INT rates his first two years were 2.6 and 2.2. Eli's were 4.6 and 3.1. He didn't get below 2 (2.1, until his fifth season). After two games this year, Jones' INT rate is zero. His yards per attempt is up about 33 percent, his yards per game is up, his yards per completion is up, and his QB rating is way up.

Just to be clear...DJ now played well against Denver? I watched that entire game and don't remember our offense doing much of anything until we were down 20. Some revisionist history going on here.
Not to take away from game 2...he looked great. Accurate (unlike Den game), threw the ball further the 4 yards down the field (unlike Den game), and made plays to win a football game....
...buuuuuutttt....
....that's the best DJ has looked in about 20 games. He's still thrown 13 TDs in his last 16 games.
